THE DOCTRINE OF POSTPONEMENT

DO NOT believe in the doctrine of "postponement" of the rapture.

How can it be imminent and delayed at the same time?

Grab hold tight to your Blessed Hope! Jesus and Paul encouraged us to be watchful and ready at all times! This is a high-watch season! Keep looking up!

Jesus says: "And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." Mark 13:37

When it comes to our Blessed Hope of waiting for our Lord and Savior, we're all in, every month, every week, every day, and every second! We don't waste our time thinking that it may not happen. If it doesn't happen at a specific time, we'll deal with it when it comes!

Don't worry about getting your heart broken — The Healer is with us! We're not stopping to ponder whether it might take a year or two. The truth is, we don't know His exact timing, but we're living and acting like it could happen at any moment.

That's what Jesus and Paul taught us to do. Paul's example is powerful. We know he was the recipient of the mystery of the rapture. He lived his life with eager anticipation for His "glorious appearing" in the air. His writings aimed to inspire us to keep watching, just as Jesus instructed us to do. Despite waiting for years (probably over 30) for the rapture to happen, Paul never wavered in his encouragement to the Church.

"Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:13)

He didn't entertain thoughts of "postponement" or doubt about the urgency. He consistently emphasized the importance of staying watchful and ready for the imminent return of Jesus — he knew that doing the opposite would be detrimental to the Church. The Bible instructs us to watch and be ready at any moment — there is no doctrine of "postponement" in the Bible!

Two potential pitfalls for the Church arise when we entertain this idea:

First, we might think there's no urgency to share the gospel.

And second, we could lose that sense of anticipation for His coming at any given time — essentially losing the sense of hope!

This seems like the perfect strategy for the enemy! Now that you're firm in your belief in the rapture and he can't shake that, he's trying a different tactic: "IT'S NOT NOW! AT LEAST NOT THIS YEAR." Don't let his words deceive you!

Imminence and delay are mutually exclusive, they are contradictory concepts - you can't believe in both. Pick what you want to believe carefully!
