Just like history is divided because of Jesus (AD & BC) - our own personal history should also be divided the second we believe in Jesus.
This is when the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us replacing our hard and sinful hearts - with hearts that are pure and after the Lord.
If you look in the rear-view mirror of your life and don't see a line marked by Jesus dividing your life, there is a good chance that you may not be saved.
There is a difference between believing in God with our heads - as opposed to believing with our hearts. We must believe with both!
In this case, pray, and have a moment with God. Understand that it's by the blood of Jesus and His complete work on the cross that we're saved, nothing less - nothing more. It's not by our good works, or good efforts, or our religious beliefs, or by praying a "salvation prayer"-
Put your whole heart in Jesus! The moment you do it you will be saved, justified, sealed until the day of redemption, and rapture ready!!! Don't put it off, do it now! BE READY!! He's coming for His Church!
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
