THE BREAD OF LIFE

Jesus said, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst." We'll never be satisfied unless we KNOW Him, and we'll never survive if we don't HAVE Him! He is the bread of life and the door to eternal salvation!

This truth may sound so basic but it's truly profound! Jesus compares Himself to the most essential household staple as if He's shouting at us His deep desire for closeness and relationship with us. He humbles Himself in making this analogy to remind us that we can approach Him every time we hunger. He is readily available to satisfy our most fundamental needs, our hunger and thirst, day and night. He also elevates this truth when He says, "For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” (John 6:33) -

He ensures not only our earthly sustenance but also our eternal life! A single piece of bread serves as a symbol of our transition from simple physical sustenance to eternal life with the Father."

He uses the words 'come' and 'believe' in this verse, extending an invitation to those listening to place their faith in Jesus as the Messiah and Son of God. Once again, He reveals His profound desire to gather His people, urging them to believe in Him with the same depth- from the littlest, most insignificant things to the most fundamental things - such as eternity!

Allow your faith to grow in Him! If you already believe in Jesus, believe more! And if you don't, this is an invitation to place your trust in Him- to believe that He is the Son of God who came to die for your sins on the cross, was buried, and rose again to provide for all your needs, from the most earthly and basic - to eternal life with the Father!

Don't delay! He's coming soon to gather His Church! It's time to BELIEVE in JESUS!

HAVE YOUR DAILY BREAD!
