Self-identified Christians are not always born-again Christians. Unfortunately, you can claim to be a Christian, without actually being one.
The best way to impact a generation is to impact their leaders. YOUTH LEADERS AND ALL LEADERS NEED TO CONTINUE MOVING FORWARD IN PRAYER, SUPPLICATION, AND THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD AND ABOVE ALL THINGS LIVE IT.
The Bible is a Living Book. It is always relevant.
“If you never have sleepless hours, if you never have weeping eyes, if your hearts never swell as if they would burst, you need not anticipate that you will be called zealous. You do not know the beginning of true zeal, for the foundation of Christian zeal lies in the heart. The heart must be heavy with grief and yet must beat high with holy ardor. The heart must be vehement in desire, panting continually for God’s glory, or else we shall never attain to anything like the zeal which God would have us know.” Charles Spurgeon
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control; will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3:20 NIV).
there will always be a longing that goes unmet while our feet are on this ground. That is because we were made for heaven! There will come a day when we will be completely at home, at rest, and at peace. Until then, just remember, we are aliens and strangers in this world where we temporarily live.
I do like that we are seated in the heavenly as Paul says. Even though we are not home yet, because of the Spirit that is in us we can live as if we are.
Gal 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Gal 2:21 "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness [comes] through the law, then Christ died in vain."

you should no longer view yourself as a victim of someone else’s choices, mistreatment, or neglect. Instead, view yourself as a person with options. Seek God for your destiny and make decisions that are based on God's word.
One of the greatest steps of faith is when you don't get what you want but you can still say... "Thank you, Lord"

He has given us His Word and He will fulfill His promises.
God promises to keep His people,
and He will keep His promise.
~C. H. Spurgeon
Every day when we get up, we are faced with choices—choices to do the right thing or the wrong thing. No one is exempt from these choices. These choices will have consequences, and some even will have far-reaching consequences. We need to think very carefully about the choices we make, because we make our choices—and then our choices make us.
Pastor Greg
We should come to Jesus, and by our own choice give Him everything we have, everything we are.
We give our life to Him and say, "This is Jesus' spoil."
We give our gifts and abilities to Him and say, "This is Jesus' spoil."
We give our time to Him and say, "This is Jesus' spoil."
We give our possessions to Him and say, "This is Jesus' spoil."
We give our praise to Him and say, "This is Jesus' spoil."
Let everything in your life be a trophy and a reward for Jesus. David Guzik
Marriage is not so much finding the right person as it is being the right person. But all of this is to be done with God's help. A strong and happy marriage is the result of obedience to God and His Word and laying aside this world's distorted "take it or leave it" concept of marriage.
The enemy's weapons may wound, but they will not prosper. The devil may bite, but his poison will not do its intended purpose. That which is done to us that is evil, God will use for good.
"No weapon formed against you shall PROSPER,.." (Isa 54:17)
"But he shook off the serpent into the fire and DID NOT die from its venom.." (Acts 28:5)
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but GOD meant it for GOOD,.." (Gen 50:20)
Jesus’ call to lay down our lives to serve others is very clear. He gave His life for us and gave His life to us so that we can live our lives serving others as He did.
Have you heard of the old omnipotent paradox that asks, “Could God create a stone so heavy that even He could not lift it?” All things are possible with God, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things He cannot do. He can’t go against who He is. He is love (1 John 4:8), truth (John 14:6), righteous (Romans 3:21), holy (Isaiah 5:16), eternal (Psalm 90:2), forgiving (1 John 1:9), omnipotent (Hebrews 1:3), omnipresent (Isaiah 66:1), omniscient (Psalm 147:4-5) and unchanging (Revelation 21:6).
Reflect on who God is not who you are or where you are.
the inner work ethic in the ministry of Jesus is driven by mercy.
The attitude of the heart toward the Scriptures is pivotal if a person is to experience God's grace at work in his life. A hardhearted response to the word of God does not receive the grace of God.
Bob Hoekstra
The Bible tells us when we became believers in the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ, we also "received the Spirit of sonship." In other words, we were adopted into the family of God; and just like any other child, we have been given the right to cry out to our Father in Heaven
The enemy cannot endure the infallible truth, for it is death to the falsehood of which he is the father.
~C.H. Spurgeon~
