We should not be the kind of people who have our ears tuned to evil conversations about other people.
~Alan Redpath~
A giving Savior should have giving disciples.

When Jesus Christ truly comes into our lives, He takes up residence. And He doesn't just do a basic housecleaning; He does a thorough one. There is real change. But when a house has only been swept, that is, when someone has made only moral changes, he or she is still vulnerable to the enemy. This is why we must recognize the futility of simply turning over a new leaf or making a few new resolutions. We must realize the problem is deeper than our moral sins. We must get to the heart of the matter and have Jesus Christ take residence in our lives and change us from the inside out.
Greg Laurie
If your message is going to have power then you must live it.
Pastor Dennis Davenport
The complete message of the bible is Just as much as there are blessings, there is also trials and tribulations, temptations that lead to destruction and death. God is not the author of confusion but the author and finisher of our faith. Just as much as God wants to bless you Satan wants to destroy you.

Love should be the silver thread that runs through all your
conduct.

We tend to view our weaknesses as liabilities. However, since our worth does not depend upon us in any way, we can and must be honest about our weaknesses, knowing they do not diminish our value in the heart and mind of God but can, in fact, become the areas through which God does His greatest work.
Instead, we try to ignore weaknesses, hoping no one will notice. We live in denial, assigning blame to others when we fail. Eventually, we attempt to bury our weaknesses only to find them resurrecting themselves when we least expect it. A powerful life embraces pain, brokenness and weakness and understands that perfection is for Heaven, not Earth. The words of Paul are profound, “God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” (1 Corinthians 1:27 NIV).
C.S. Lewis one said, "Nothing that you have not given away will ever truly be yours."
When we give away our time, come alongside a child or a family in poverty, give away our resources to feed or educate a child, it simply bounces back into the hands of the one who gave it all to us in the first place.
The lack of Love believes the worst...
When ritualism and legalism come into the church, the church becomes the frozen chosen.

"Trials teach us what we are; they dig up the soil and let us see what we are made of."— Charles Spurgeon
"God does not love us because we are valuable. We are valuable because God loves us."
— Fulton J. Sheen
It is in storms that He does His finest work, for it is in storms He has our keenest attention.
No matter what your vocations are, they all carry the same great purpose: to do good to others and bring glory to God.
The life that Jesus wants to give us is the contented life. And this contentment comes from the knowledge that the Good Shepherd is always looking out for our best interests. It is His great joy.
We have everything we need to grow. So, if we want to grow, we will. And if we don’t want to grow, we won’t.
Salvation is not a result of human effort, and none of us are saved by works. However, we must cooperate with the Holy Spirit, who wants to transform us.
The end game is to be a fruitful Christian. And that, by the way, is why we’re here on this earth.

IF YOU GAVE IT TO GOD IN PRAYER ... LEAVE IT THERE. HE CAN'T FIX WHAT YOU KEEP TRYING TO HANDLE!
“PEOPLE DON'T NEED TO HEAR ANOTHER SERMON PREACHED, THEY NEED TO SEE THE ONES THEY'VE ALREADY HEARD, LIVED!”
IF YOU HAVE TO COMPROMISE TO GET IT, YOU'LL HAVE TO COMPROMISE TO KEEP IT! WHETHER IT BE PEOPLE, PLACES, OR THINGS, NEVER DISGRACE YOUR INTEGRITY AND CHARACTER.
ARROGANT LEADERS REJECT FEEDBACK AND GET WORSE. INSECURE LEADERS AVOID FEEDBACK AND STAY STAGNATE. CONFIDENT LEADERS ACCEPT FEEDBACK AND STRENGTHEN THEIR AREAS OF WEAKNESS!

You’ll always feel like something is missing in your life as long as Someone is missing. His name is Jesus.
Heard of a youth group asking teens to “identify their preferred pronouns”. That’s when your teen needs to ask them to “identify their closest exit door”. Our kids being in church is important. Them being in a church that actually teaches & believes the Bible is more important.
Church is the perfect place for imperfect people to worship the perfect Savior.
Scripture was never meant to be cherry-picked out of context. Chapters and Verses were not added until the 1500s. Scripture was always meant to be read and studied in its entirety. That is where the meat is. If you’re always cherry-picking cherries, you’ll never consume meat.
