People

People can be flakes. The very ones that stood by and said Hosanna, Hosanna, Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, a week later said crucify Him.

John 12:13 took branches of palm trees went out to meet Him, and cried out: "Hosanna! 'Blessed [is] He who comes in the name of the LORD!' The King of Israel!"

When Jesus said Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing, we tend to miss they know not what they do part.

Our responsibility is to always have the word ready to give an answer. Pet 3:15

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always [be] ready to [give] a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

I love the words of Paul in Acts 26:27-29 and King Agrippa's response.

27 King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe.” 28 Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuaded me to become a Christian.” 29 And Paul said, “I would to God that not only you but also all who hear me today, might become both almost and altogether such as I am, except for these chains.”

Don't get caught up with where people are in Christ, our place is to be doers of the word and I guarantee you will be persecuted for it. Jesus said BLESSED are you~
