IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP

Church, wake UP, and look for your beloved!

"My beloved is mine, and I am his" Our relentless quest as a Church is to seek His presence and eagerly anticipate His return! He's coming as a faithful groom in search of His bride. Search for Him, while He can still be found!

"My beloved is mine, and I am his. He feeds his flock among the lilies." (Song of Sal 2:16)

In Song of Solomon, we see the Shulamite (Church) describing a dream where her beloved (Jesus) comes to her, but she hesitates to open the door for Him. She makes different types of excuses pointing out how she doesn't want to be "inconvenienced" by having to get up to open the door.

When she finally gets up to let Him in, He is gone, and she is filled with regret and longing. She goes out to search for Him but is unable to find Him, and she is tormented by the thought that He might be gone forever. This passage highlights our pursuit of God. Sometimes, we may hesitate to open our hearts and fully surrender to Him. We might hold back because we know that the pursuit of God can be painful, and filled with struggles, obstacles, and doubts. Nevertheless, this passage reminds us that when God knocks on our door, we must always open and fully embrace Him. This means facing what is hard for us to face, such as repentance, discipline, rebuking, or correction. However, if we procrastinate, the window of opportunity may close, and we could miss our chance to respond to His invitation.

"Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near." (Is 55:6)

This is not the time to drag our feet. We have so little time left on this earth for Him to finish His work. Let's embrace it, even if it's painful, and continue dedicating our lives to the pursuit of God. Times are getting tougher, but His work in us is almost complete! Allow Him to finish it! He's coming soon to proclaim that HE is YOURS and YOU are HIS!

If you haven't opened that door to Jesus so He can save you, this is the opportunity to do it!

Believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins, He was buried and rose on the third day to give you eternal life. He's coming for His Church! Open the door and believe in Him! Don't delay!! Seek Him while He may be found!
