Put aside any misconceptions you have about Jesus and God, and listen to what Jesus is telling you.
"Whoever hears my word, and believes on Him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life". Jesus Christ is Lord.
Actually, the whole Bible verse goes: "
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
John 5:24 "Verily, verily": These words in the Bible are spoken exclusively by Jesus. He isn't merely emphasizing, He is claiming absolute, first-hand, personal knowledge.
This is not something He has learned or been taught — instead, it is a fact He personally knows to be true. When He spoke those words, He had just been attacked by local religious leaders who were angry at Him for healing a man who had been crippled for 40 years on a Sabbath. Instead of being amazed at His miracle, they didn't believe Him. Tragically, they missed their opportunity to be saved and missed their Messiah!
Whatever it is that is keeping you from believing in Jesus today, whether it be the pain you have experienced in this life, a negative experience in church or with Christian family members or friends, or a desire to be in control of your life, or the hurt caused by people or the challenges you face —whatever it may be—don't let those things blind you from seeing Jesus and believing in His truth! Don't miss your SAVIOR!
He is saying to you, right now, this very second, "verily, verily" which means that He personally guarantees that if YOU believe in Him and in God, the sins you have been struggling with, those things that cause you pain and shame, He has the power to forgive them because He personally went to the cross to die for them, to die for YOU!
If you believe, You will not be judged or condemned by God for any of them! You will be forgiven and you will have the freedom to forgive yourself and be free from your own condemnation as well!
Once you believe, you will pass from a state of spiritual death to everlasting life! That means you will be taken at the rapture, which is about to happen, to live with Him forever! It's time to set aside all misconceptions you have about Jesus and God and GET SAVED! Don't miss your Savior!
Believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died on the cross for our sins, He was buried and resurrected during the third day, according to the Scriptures, so we can have eternal life with Him.
The moment you believe in Him and that He died for your sins - you're saved, justified, sealed until the day of redemption, and rapture ready!
The Holy Spirit will come to live inside of you - He will help you, guide you, change you, and be with you FOREVER!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
