Fellowship With One Another

But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. 1 John 1:7

Walking in God’s light is the joy of every follower of Christ. However, some believers lose fellowship with one another because they experience challenges in their daily life of faith.

While secure in Christ’s Kingdom as their ultimate destination, some are ashamed to admit the difficulties in navigating the earthly part of their journey. When days accumulate with unaddressed distractions or temptation, shadows of doubt can creep in, and God’s light of life is blocked.

God understands the limits to your human faith, and His word is there to help you move beyond doubt into broader planes of faith.

“The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple” (Psalm 119:130).

Those seeking to follow Christ will find God’s word literally illuminates His path and can be used to direct your feet! The prophet Isaiah records God’s beautiful promise,

“I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths they have not known, I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them” (Isaiah 42:16).

Do you need more of God’s light in your life?

Choose to fellowship in a congregation dedicated to exploring and understanding the Bible.

Seek out time-tested, faithful teachers and study! You will find your faith growing and fellowship restored as God’s powerful Word fills your heart.
