For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. – 1 Corinthians 14:33
Confusion is growing in the world. The devil uses it as an effective tool to entrap the souls of humankind. An example is how young children are being led to question their gender as well as their parents’ right to have them take out the trash. This unstable perspective cultivates a deep-seated sense of chaos ruling their hearts and minds. As people accept the removal of natural boundaries set by the Creator’s design, worship turns toward idolatry, families crumble, and the world spins in turmoil.
The Son of God came to Earth to right the upside-down world, providing clarity for the confused, and healing those with diseases. He is still the only One who can restore the anguished soul and raise up the downtrodden. The hope Jesus offers is the antidote to self-will, which only compounds the confusion. The door that holds people captive to uncertainty flies wide open when they follow God’s path to salvation.
The Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, beckons, “Let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price” (Revelation 22:17). Faith in Christ sets the captive free to know the peace of God: “The Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2).
