STOP! If I say stand up right now if you are righteous? Would you stand up? Why NOT? We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Don't let anyone ever tell you that you need to do any type of work to "earn" your salvation. It's trusting in HIS blood that makes us righteous!"
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21
Salvation is not to be earned, salvation is to be received by grace through faith! It's only the blood of Christ Jesus, that covers ALL your sins and saves you!
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
If you are struggling because you feel that you haven't done enough for Jesus, you haven't been diligent reading your Bible, going to Church, or praying like you "should", or being kind or empathetic to people, or charitable enough, and have been not at your best lately —and because of ALL that, you are doubting about your salvation! I'm telling you ALL those thoughts are coming from the pit of HELL!!!
Don't ever think that you can buy your way to salvation, those works are just filthy rags compared to the work Jesus did on the cross! He doesn't need your works, He needs you to repent and give Him all your sins and put 100%, not 90%, not 80% but all ALL your trust in what HE did for you on the cross, in His blood that is sufficient to cover you!!
If your faith is in your works, you are not believing in the "God that so loved the world that sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Your faith is in another little "g" god. Look at the Passover story, the night of the 10th plague where God told the Israelites to sacrifice a spotless lamb and mark their doorposts and lintels with its blood (Exodus 12:21–22).
Do the people that God saved were graded A+ for their works, B or C? NO! The only thing that saved those people was the BLOOD OF THE LAMB on their doorposts. The story repeats itself with Jesus! The only thing that is going to save you is His blood in your heart, in believing in what He did for you!! Not your good grades in works!
When you are in Christ, you have to fulfill the law a 100%full stop. We become the righteousness of God! We trade places with Him —He goes to the cross to pay for our sins, and we become Him — the only one who has walked on this earth sinless, pure perfection before God! That's who you are, and that's what you can NOT achieve with your works.
Now, ALL the works we do for Him on this earth will be rewarded in heaven, and we will be crowned for them, but works will NEVER be used to enter into His kingdom.
If you're saved the second before you died, you go to heaven, but you won't have rewards. Our reward is Him though and our crowns will be cast at His feet! As saved Christians that love the Lord, we want to do good works though and follow what Jesus did, so it's a given that we will be doing good works, we're called to do them, but in heaven we will be singing about Him redeeming us by His blood — not about any of our works!
"And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10
If you have come to know and trust Jesus then SHINE like a righteous light before people, and SHUT the voice of the enemy! If you haven't, this is the time to get saved, don't waste a second, Jesus is coming from His Church!!
Believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died on the cross for our sins, He was buried and resurrected during the third day, according to the Scriptures, so we can have eternal life with Him.
The moment you believe in Him and that He died for your sins - you're saved, justified, sealed until the day of redemption, and rapture ready! The Holy Spirit will come to live inside of you - He will help you, guide you, change you, and be with you FOREVER!
