The Cross Is Foolishness To Those Who Are Perishing

Unbelievers:

LOOK AT THE CROSS AND LIVE! "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God!" -

Trade everything YOU ARE for everything HE IS!

Be saved TODAY!

Take a break from your own 'wisdom' today and pause to listen to what God is saying:

“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” I Cor 1:19

Understand this unequivocally: it is utterly impossible to know God through your wisdom truly!

"For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe."

 I Cor 1:21

"...but we preach Christ crucified...Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.  Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men." I Cor 1:23-25

The wisdom of God is revealed in Jesus Christ, who went to the cross to reconcile us with Him, cleansing us from all sins (righteousness), restoring us (sanctification), and redeeming us (for eternal life).

When we look at the cross and trust in what He did for us, something incredible happens! We're born again, The Holy Spirit places us in Christ - we become ONE WITH HIM and trade all we were for all He is. As part of His Body, we're united with Him — fully sealed — no way out!

When God looks at us believers, He sees Christ's perfection, wisdom, and righteousness, because we're one with Him. He doesn't see our past — all He sees is Christ in us, and He fully accepts us ONLY because of Christ!

Our wisdom doesn't impress God!

The wisdom of God is Jesus Christ giving His life on the cross for You and me!

Here's a historical fact: When God told Moses to make a fiery serpent and place it on a pole, those bitten by snakes, severely ill, survived by looking at the bronze serpent. Many looked and were healed, but those who refused to look— perished! This symbolizes Jesus dying for our sins (serpent) on the cross (pole).

DO NOT repeat the Israelites' mistake!

It might have seemed 'foolish' to look at the serpent and be healed, but — they DIED!

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God!" -

LOOK at the cross, believe in Jesus— who is the wisdom of God — and trade everything you are for everything HE IS - and LIVE TODAY!

GET SAVED!
