QUOTES

The Power of God

The Promises of God

The Presence of God

= The Testimony of God

Before the Word everyone must give way.

~Martin Luther~

Man does not want to obey God. Man wants to misinterpret God’s Word to suit themselves. God help us when we change God’s Word instead of obeying.

Choose this day to let your light shine. You have every excuse in the world to be angry, frustrated, confused, and bitter, but Jesus has given you new life to shine for Him. Glorify your heavenly Father today and choose to be a light in the darkness. Let God's Word shine through you today.

A half truth is the same thing as a whole lie.

"Silence is golden when you can't think of a good answer." ~ Muhammad Ali

"If you are ever going to think outside the box, you'd better learn to think inside the box you're already in!" ~ Al Argo

Ideas are wonderful, but execution is critical.

By identifying and embracing my unique personality traits, abilities, and gifts, I found freedom from the comparison trap. And you can too! Be your self.....

Is the Lord your I AM~

I AM THE WAY AND THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 14:6

I AM FOREVER FAITHFUL.

"He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them-He remains faithful forever." Psalm 146:6

I AM WITH YOU.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

I AM HOLDING YOU.

"Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand." Psalm 73:23

I AM YOUR HIDING PLACE.

"You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance." Psalm 32:7

Eph.2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

If you don't build your dream someone will hire you to build theirs

Opportunities to show kindness are everywhere; keep your heart open and you'll see them.

God is not going to use you, if you cannot get it together. God wants to use your life, but if you do not want to repent and return to your first love, Jesus will go somewhere else and work. He will use somebody else. That is why it is so important for us to be in love with Jesus, All true believers are lifelong repenters.

~Jim Elliff~

God has begun an awesome work in you and promises without a shadow of a doubt to complete it. Never give up; God is at work in your life.

The supreme issue regarding the better aspects of the new covenant of grace is Jesus, our High Priest. The priests under the law were men who served for a limited time and then died. Under grace, our High Priest serves forever. Jesus received His priesthood "not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life" (Hebrews 7:16).

Only may the Lord give you wisdom and understanding, and give you charge concerning Israel, that you may keep the law of the Lord your God. Then you will prosper, if you take care to fulfill the statutes and judgments with which the Lord charged Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed. (1 Chron 22:12-13) Obedience to God's word is still a requirement for our blessing. May we seek to obey Him today! Good morning, we love you!

Only may the Lord give you wisdom and understanding, and give you charge concerning Israel, that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.

Self criticize to improve, but do not self-judge so harshly to the point of putting yourself into a depression or feeling hopeless.

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.

Love that does not yield is true-

"Women absolutely need love, and men absolutely need respect. It's as simple - and as complicated - as that."

~Dr. Emerson Eggerichs, in "Love & Respect:

"The very first thing which needs to be said about Christian ministers of all kinds is that they are "under" people as their servants rather than "over" them (as their leaders, let alone their lords).

“The authority by which the Christian leader leads is not power but love, not force but example, not coercion but reasoned persuasion. Leaders have power, but power is safe only in the hands of those who humble themselves to serve.” – John Stott

If you want to be a great leader of people you have to get away from people to be with God

"Leaders dramatically influence the culture of their organizations through their own work habits. Being a leader does not mean one has 'made it' and is now exempt from hard work.

"Spiritual leaders are optimistic not because man is good, but because God is in control." Piper

Society often encourages you to choose a favorite: a restaurant, automobile, celebrity or television show. But God does not play favorites. He did not send His Son to die just for the Jews, or the Pharisees, or even solely for His followers. God sent His Son to die for you, the homeless guy, the drug addict, the loud neighbor, the slow driver, the rude co-worker…everyone!

we can't let compliments go to our head or criticism go to our heart.

“Let not a repentant sinner imagine that he is remote from the estate of the righteous because of the sins and misdeeds he has done. This is not true, for he is beloved and precious to God as if he never sinned.” —Malmonides, Mishneh Torah, 1170 A.D.

Meditating on God’s Word will help you to be fruitful in your work.

Psa 112:7

He will not be afraid of evil tidings;

His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.

“…by grace we are saved through faith; saved both from the guilt and from the power of sin.”

~John Wesley~

Addiction to sin is a universal curse from which we all suffer. However, there is deliverance in Christ if we turn to Him from sin—all of it, even that in which we secretly delight. The choice is ours.

~A.W.Tozer~

God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice because in His forbearance He had left sins committed beforehand unpunished—He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

~Billy Graham~

We've found an undeniable link between the health of our prayer life and the health of our marriage. Why? It's likely because the steadfastness of our prayer life is an indicator of our reliance on God. Conversely, the stronger we feel in ourselves, the further we drift toward self-reliance (and away from reliance on God).

"By so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant."

Bob Hoekstra

The law is good, but only if it is used properly. "We know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners" (1 Timothy 1:8-9). The lawful use of God's law pertains to the unrighteous, the rebellious. The law is not designed to give people a righteous standing in God's sight (justification). "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ" (Galatians 2:16).

In these difficult days, the Word of God should be thought of as precious. It touches and changes our hearts. Do not neglect to come to church, listen to the message taught by the messenger––and go away changed.

We cannot attain the presence of God. We’re already totally in the presence of God. What’s missing is awareness.
