No one can question Jesus, the Lord of the Universe, who is the greatest of all liberators. In Chapter 8 of Luke, you can see different instances where the Lord showed His liberating power. He liberated the disciples of fear in the midst of a storm by bringing them liberating peace. He freed a man of a possessing evil spirit and brought liberating clarity to his mind. He cured the daughter of Jairus by commanding her to arise, liberating her from that moment of death.
The greatest need in America today is that people be liberated from bondage to sin. That freedom was paid for by the death of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary. By confessing your need of a Savior, and accepting the gift of love that the Father has given, you can forever escape the curse of eternal separation from God.
sometimes we need to check our attitude and preferences at the door to fully experience the joy of Christian service. What is the Lord calling you to do that makes you feel a little uncomfortable? Think about it when are you stretched and grow most?

Jail inmates dream of freedom. The sudden thump of a wrecking ball knocking down the walls would be happy music to their ears. Multitudes are jailed behind massive walls that aren’t physical, but spiritual, emotional, and mental. They are locked into addictions and behaviors that limit them as much as the strongest prison bars. The walls of such fortresses can’t be knocked down by physical powers. God’s covenant people have spiritual weapons through Jesus Christ that no fortress can withstand.
