Peace is not real peace until it has been tested in the storm. ~Eric Hayman~

Do not expect everyone to understand your journey. Especially if they've never had to walk your path. ~~ Zig Ziglar

“We all have the ability. The difference is how we use it” — Stevie Wonder

"Sometimes the questions are complicated but the answers are simple!" — Dr. Seuss

The Church loses the big point when it gets sidetracked debating the resources God gives. Instead, she is to go forward on the promise of His supply for what we need in each situation.

godly encouragement that comes from living and serving under a ministry of mercy and grace.

The service we now render to the Lord is based upon mercy: "Since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy." We deserved condemnation by God and separation from Him for eternity. Instead, God had mercy upon us, forgiving us of our sins. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us" (Titus 3:5).

"God's plans for your life far exceed the circumstances of your day." Louie Giglio

We can approach God at any time, but it’s not because of anything we do. Rather, it’s because of what Jesus did for us.

Laments are the shadow side of faith. It is precise because we take God seriously and desire to grow in faith and in our relationship with Him that we engage in honest lament.

“To take all that we are and have and hand it over to God may not be easy, but it can be done, and when it is done, the world has in it one less candidate for misery.” —Paul E. Scherer

The more we understand God’s sovereignty, the more our prayers will be filled with thanksgiving.

~R.C. Sproul~

How does God get your attention? Does the house have to burn down? Sometimes the life-changing events we experience (loss of a job, health issue, financial setback, family problem, etc.) are only necessary because we haven't been listening to God -- we've blocked Him out. Are you at all blocking God out of your life?

Men without God suffer alone and die alone in times of war and in other circumstances of life. All alone! But it can never be said that any true soldier of the Cross of Jesus Christ, no man or woman as missionary or messenger of the Truth has ever gone out to a ministry alone!

When the Spirit of God deals with our young people about their own missionary responsibility, Christ assures them of His presence and power as they prepare to go:

"All power is given unto Me! I am no longer in the grave. I will protect you. I will support you. I will go ahead of you. I will give you effectiveness for your witness and ministry. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations "I will never leave you nor forsake you!"

In the time of death, some people are insensitive and don't realize it. For whatever reason send private messages. At least think before you respond.

Our faith isn't based on what God does in a moment. Our faith is based on what Christ did on the cross.

When God’s Word is hidden in our hearts when it cleanses our souls, renews our minds, and inspires our lives, we can get through anything.

Following Jesus doesn’t mean you get a free “get out of suffering” card. In fact the Bible just about guarantees that if you follow the way of Jesus, you will encounter suffering:

See: Acts 14:22 John 15:20 1 Peter 4:12 2 Tim 3:12

You did not do anything to achieve your salvation, but you must do something to exhibit it.

Transitions in our lives must be faced with fierce trust.
