We, Christians, do not believe that Jesus Christ was the only one that ever rose from the dead. We believe that every deathbed is a resurrection; that from every grave the stone is rolled away.

~C.H. Spurgeon~

Before Pentecost the disciples found it hard to do easy things; after Pentecost, they found it easy to do hard things.

~A. J. Gordon~

Let's give the people we influence something to reach for!

“Content is the philosopher's stone which turns all it touches into gold; happy is he who has found it. Content is more than a kingdom, it is another word for happiness.”

—C. H. Spurgeon

Isaiah 6:1: "In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple." In other words, only Uzziah had died -- not God. God continued to be in control. He was still seated on the throne, the battle IS won.

All too often we become fearful and concerned. Especially in our current days...

We Christians know how this all turns out: God wins, we win, sin is defeated, and we live eternally with our Lord and Savior.

It kind of changes our perspective if we know the battle ends in victory. Are you living as a victor or a victim?

"God delights to make the church his household and makes her beautiful by his presence among her."

Dustin Benge

God knows exactly where we are on His calendar. He's in control of events to fulfill His prophecies. We may not like what's happening around us, but God's in control -- and every power and authority has been ordained by Him. Everything is part of His plan.

we are to witness Jesus Christ. To lead an unsaved world to heal. To introduce God's plan for eternal peace which is a personal and saving relationship with His Son, our Lord, and Savior.

We are to live by trusting in the goodness of the Lord. "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!" (Psalm 34:8).

God’s main concern is conforming His children to the image of Christ. And He works through the challenging circumstances of our lives to help develop that Christlikeness in us.

Your future is as bright

as the promises of God!

“Because I live, you also will live”

-John 14:19

The problem is never Scripture but our unwilling hearts to believe what Scripture clearly teaches.

Dustin Benge

The duty of the believer to the church is spiritual. Our duty as a citizen under government is worldly and material. To combine the two is to miss Jesus' point completely.

The Scriptures clearly declare that the knowledge of the Lord is for developing a relationship, not merely cataloging correct information about Him.

J. Vernon McGee once commented, "Prophecy is the mold into which history is poured." The Hebrew mindset identifies patterns in Scripture and history. Prophecy is best understood when we recognize those patterns.

Christians are often quick to stand up for truth and righteousness but struggle with humility. While they may seem an unlikely trio, truth, and righteousness should be given with a gentle and lowly heart.

A young mom has trouble getting her preschool son to stay seated in the church. After several skirmishes, she finally warns him, “Sit down, or I’ll make you sit down!” Reluctantly, the child complies. After a few minutes, he turns to his mother and says, “I’m sitting down, but I’m still standing up on the inside!”

Don't make life too complex. Keep your heart soft and your plans sensitive each day to whatever He brings along your way. May I encourage you to simply pray every morning that God would use you in whatever way He wants and that He would give you the strength for whatever it is?

Do not rest content until by faith you can say, "Yes, I cast myself upon my living Lord; and He is mine." You may hold Him with a feeble hand and half think it presumption to say, "He lives as my Redeemer." But remember, if you have faith even as a grain of mustard seed, that little faith entitles you to say it.
