QUOTES

As you commit your life to the Lord, He begins to plant His desires in your heart, then guides you according to His plan.

~Chuck Smith~

Our leadership may call us to confront some kind of system, power, or authority in order to do what’s best for the people and organizations we serve. L.E. Romanie

We must have a spirit of power toward the enemy, a spirit of love towards men, and a spirit of self-control toward ourselves.

~Watchman Nee~

St. Patrick’s life has a legendary quality, his manuscript The Confession of Saint Patrick does give us a glimpse into the man’s life and character. One aspect becomes clear: his humility. He opens with, “I, Patrick, a sinner, a most simple countryman, the least of all the faithful and most contemptible to many…” Even though Patrick could take credit for bringing thousands of former pagans into the Christian family, he did not embrace a “savior” mentality. Instead, he knew that only the true Savior, our Lord Jesus, can bring a powerful transformation that lasts.

It behooved us to spread our nets, that a vast multitude and throng might be caught for God.

~Saint Patrick~

It is Jesus who now provides us with this nourishment or refreshing. He is not only the "bread of life" He is also referred to as "The Word." We are refreshed when we spend time with Jesus.

In the ministry, you cannot do whatever you want. You have to wait on God’s perfect timing. Always make sure you are serving in the places where God has called and anointed you. This way, you can flow with the Holy Spirit. Otherwise, you will become like Saul––foolish.

He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else. ~Benjamin Franklin~

What good is theology without practicality?

Christianity isn't about laws, rules, regulations, and religious activities. It's all about our love for Him. It's all about our heartfelt desire to please Him. And when we fall in love with Him, then we start falling in love with the Bible (His written word to us), and with prayer (His verbal communication with us), and for the world around us that so desperately needs His love.

We are the messengers, and God is the transformer of our lives.

Most people are brought to faith in Christ, not by an argument for it, but by exposure to it.

~Samuel Shoemaker~our

As a Christian is never out of the reach of God’s hand, so he

is never out of the view of God’s eye.

~Thomas Brooks~

“Learn how to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you want.” – Jim Rohn

“If you spend five minutes complaining, you have just wasted five minutes. If you continue complaining, it won’t be long before they haul you out to a financial desert and there let you choke on the dust of your own regret.” – Jim Rohn

Leaders are dealers in hope~ Napoleon

Being a Christian isn’t just for Sundays. It’s a lifestyle.

"Humility is the only soil in which true unity can grow. Only when Christ is more precious to us than our own reputations will we give up our petty rivalries and personal agendas? Only when his glory eclipses all else will we live for his cause and no other." (Michael Reeves)

“The gospel is not a mere announcement of the love of God unpreceded and unattended by any action on His part; it is the glad message of the love of God in action, of what God does in Jesus to give His love effect in actual, substantial salvation.” — Geerhardus Vos

"The wonder is that Christ would ever come to any of us! That's why when a person is truly redeemed, it doesn't make them proud; it makes them humble." —Alistair Begg

“A man’s greatest battle, in the last analysis, is his battle with himself.” — D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones

Nothing seemed so offensive to Christ as a false teacher of religion, a false prophet, or a false shepherd. Nothing ought to be so much feared by the Church, be so plainly rebuked, opposed & exposed. JC Ryle
