My tongue is not able to tell, and my mind is too weak to explain, the whole extent of God's love towards sinners, and of Christ's willingness to receive and save souls. —JC Ryle, Old Paths, Pg. 60 If we ever get tired of hearing these things (the truths of the Gospel) we can be quite sure that we have either never been Christians or we are in a state of serious backsliding. —Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Romans Volume 10: Saving Faith, Pg. 107

It may be said of nominal believers, as Alexander said to one that bore his name, but was a coward, either lay aside the name or put on greater courage. So either do as Christians do, or do not pretend to be Christians.
