QUOTES

“Good is not good where better is expected.”

— Thomas Fuller

Send a card. Reach out to people just because. A few words can go a long way.

To be the BOSS you have to count the cost.~ Laila Ali

There is no difference between going deeper and going the extra mile........... Just do it!

Two words that come to my mind after the day has ended are balance and the big picture. People see but they don't see the big picture. Learn to see three-dimensional and balance, balance in all areas of life is so important for growth.

People who seem to just cut through the OBSTACLES and just get things done. Seemingly without fear or hesitation. These people are merely acting out the potential that is in all of us already–to be “I Can and I Will” people.

Get Past the Former Excuses by Cynthia Kersey

Choose once and for all to get past all of the former excuses that stopped you from achieving your goal or dream and step into your power by saying: "This is my time, my life, my moment of truth. I will not stop until I achieve my goal!" Realizing that being unstoppable is simply a decision that you make every day, every hour, or sometimes every minute gives you the awareness that it is a choice. And every time you choose to honor your commitment and take a single step, you are honoring yourself and exercising your self-discipline muscle. With each step you take, that muscle will grow stronger and stronger, making it easier to bring about change in your life. Your time is now. Make a pledge to yourself that you are fully committed to reaching your goal.

"The most important question to ask on the job is not "What am I getting?"

The most important question to ask on the job is "What am I becoming?” –

Jim Rohn

Liberty is found when one is “domesticated” under the Master, Jesus. No longer is such an individual compelled by the quest for survival, but he or she lives in the fullness of the Master’s supply.

Get Serious About Sin Mary Southerland

But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins, because we can trust God to do what is right. He will cleanse us from all the wrongs we have done” (1 John 1:9, NCV).

This verse was written to believers as an encouragement to deal with sin and a promise that when we do so, God will be faithful to forgive us and clean up the mess that sin has caused. We are not perfect – just forgiven. To experience that forgiveness fully we need to keep short books on sin. That means being sensitive to sin and immediately choosing to do something about it. God is serious about sin. We need to be as well.

1. We must confess sin continually. “Confess” means to agree with and is a present tense verb meaning that we must confess sin frequently and continually.

2. We must confess sin completely. We commit sins one at a time. We need to confess them one by one as well.

3. We must confess our sins confidently. Once we confess and repent of our sins, we can put them behind us. God is just and fair – seeking only one payment for sin. Jesus has already made full and complete payment with His death on the cross. One of Satan’s favorite tactics is to resurrect buried sin. Wrapping that confessed transgression in his vain taunts and useless accusations, the enemy hauls it back into focus, hoping that guilt will paralyze and imprison a soul set free. Satan can hold us prisoner if we let him. But how often do we believe his empty lies – and by doing so, grant him access to that which he has no right? To break the hold of sin, we can and must stand against the enemy, trusting not in our feelings but in the facts of God’s word. And those facts are unchanging and crystal clear – when we confess sin, God forgives it.

When we cease making comparisons and instead willingly embrace our current lot in life, welcoming all that God will teach us through it, we will finally unearth the secret Paul knew. True contentment is not merely having what you want, it is wanting nothing more than what you already have. We can only do this when we stop looking at the Joneses and turn our eyes to Jesus Christ who gives us strength.

You can’t add to or take away from the Gospel! Once you do, it’s false!

I believe You always have more beauty to give, God.

God always has more beauty to give! Default in hope in Him. Grab onto joy in Him, even if it's just the hope of future joy. He is for you!

The most powerful witness you can give the world is your personal testimony and how you live it. When you share what God has done in your life and how He changed you, you are the world’s best authority on your life and can speak with confidence.

Jesus reminds us that it’s good to stop once in a while, remember what He did for us, and go back to the first works we did when we were saved: to love Him with all our hearts, minds, and souls.

God is still honoring those who defy protocol with their bold prayers. God is still honoring those who pray with audacity and tenacity.

Don’t just pray about it; act on it.

There are defining moments in life when we need to prove to God that we mean business – and I don’t mean “business as usual.” In fact, it’s only when “business as usual” goes out of business that we’re in business – the Father’s business. That’s when we’re on the verge of a spiritual breakthrough.

If we want to see God do crazy miracles, sometimes we need to pray crazy prayers.

There is a pattern repeated in Scripture: crazy miracles are the offspring of crazy faith. Normal begets normal. Crazy begets crazy. If we want to see God do crazy miracles, sometimes we need to pray crazy prayers. Bold prayers honor God and God honors bold prayers.

Remember. Repent. Repeat. Remember from where you have fallen. Repent and do the first works. And repeat. Go back and do what you did before. the three Rs of revival:
