So often we get caught up in making things outwardly pretty at church. Is the sound system right? Is the preaching "visitor friendly"? Is the temperature set at the right level? Is the paint peeling or wood in need of refinishing? But the main thing is the main thing and that lacks most.
the main thing is the main thing
Sin can overflow lives until there seems to be no hope. Yet, the Scriptures boldly declare that the grace of God is greater than the most terrible, the aggravated sin of man. Yes, even when sin is abounding, grace can eventually abound "much more."
The grace of God is not only able to forgive sin and cleanse it away, but it can also set up a new reign of godliness in those forgiven lives.
Man's problems are a result of his relationship with Adam, who fell into sin and rebellion. God's remedies are found in a new relationship with Jesus Christ. As we have seen, all of humanity begins life ruled by a tyrant dictator called death.
If we want to be light in our towns, schools, communities, and work environments, we have to let The Light of the World into every part of our lives and do His work in us! We need to be transformed by His love. Let’s not hold back. Let’s give Him every part of our hearts.
God is looking for those with whom He can do the impossible – what a pity that we plan only the things that we can do by ourselves.

God wants to use your life. He desires for you to be His instrument through which His divine power can flow. Look around you. Is there a human need? Is there something impossible that God has placed on your heart to do? Be obedient and let God do the impossible through you!

Over 400 times, the Bible affirms, “thus says the Lord.” We cannot improve upon what God has said.
The sins of the godly are worse than the sins of others, for they grieve the Spirit more, they dishonor Christ more, they grieve the saints more, and they wound the name of God more. They are more against the love, grace, and favor of God than other men’s sins are. —
William Bridge
Ignorance of the Bible is the root of all errors. Knowledge of the Bible is the best antidote against modern heresies. -
