"If we were perfect, everything that God did would cause us to sing, and as he is always acting we should be always singing." - Charles Spurgeon
It matters nothing who says a thing, and declares it to be religious truth; it matters nothing whether we like or dislike a doctrine. Is it in the Bible? That is the only question. -

"No great work can be done without much opposition. Never look for peace while you proclaim war." -William Bramwell.
Cowards tremble before the fight and brave men after the victory. Charles Spurgeon
“Forgiveness does not mean excusing.” - C.S. Lewis

"But when we sing of redemption it is the Lord's redemption. He planned it from the beginning, he carried it out in the person of his Son, he applies it by his Holy Spirit." -

'No child of God sins to that degree as to make himself incapable of forgiveness.' —

Death for Christians is the entrance into a greater endless love relationship, meaning reflection only makes it easier to face what's coming. That means the worse thing life can bring can only usher you into something infinitely better.
Calling on the name of Jesus shouldn’t be our last resort. It should be our first response.
The soul was never meant to inhabit a world like this. It’s way too much. You’ve just got to release it into the hands of Jesus.

See from His head, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down! Did ever such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown? --Isaac Watts
God is not the author of dissension and strife, but of unity and peace, and good order.
William Tyndale
Those who live by humble faith enter into the fullness of God's provisions of grace. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble…we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand" (James 4:6 and Romans 5:2). Joshua and Caleb illustrated this truth by entering the Promised Land.
When Moses pointed Israel to the Lord for battle, he was teaching God's people to live by grace (which involves God at work on behalf of His people). "The LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you" (Deuteronomy 20:4). Joshua demonstrated this same truth when he led the people in God's victory.
Moses is another example of those who lived by grace in the Old Testament. He knew the necessity of relying upon the sufficiency of God, instead of upon the inadequate resources of man.
Christ as the Chief Cornerstone should determine the direction and design of our lives ... A life that is linked to Him will be enhanced and ennobled.
~Henry Gariepy~
As Christians, we have become living stones built on the firm foundation of our faith––Jesus our Cornerstone (1 Peter 2:5-9).
Psalm 19:7 says, “The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple” (NLT). In the original language, the word translated into “simple” comes from a word meaning “an open door.” This describes people with a mind like that. Everything comes in and goes out. They don’t know what to take in or what to keep out and are thus naïve. They are open to everything and closed to nothing. However, the Bible says that when simple-minded people, who are too open-minded, immerse themselves in Scripture, they can become biblically grounded and develop a biblical worldview.
Just like a fingerprint, your voice is unique to you. — Deb Liu
Text is ok but a call is way better
God created us with voices for a reason… to use them! Have you been silenced? Have you been told it’s not your place to lead? You matter and your voice matters! Use it!
