If Christ had not loved me with a love as deep as hell, and as strong as death, He would have turned from me long ago.
Charles Spurgeon

You will know God heard your prayer, not because your problem has been solved. You know God has heard your prayer because of the peace He gives you.
Don't only do well outwardly, but give your hearts to God and Christ.
Everyone says they want community and friendship, but when that means accountability or commitment people run the other way.
"Christ saves his people, not in their sins, but from them." —

English revivalist George Whitefield wrote in a letter: 'I am no friend to sinless perfection. I believe the existence (though not the dominion) of sin remains in the hearts of the greatest believers.'
There are times when the soul is too big to speak; when God fills it as it were, and overshadows it with his presence so that it can only fall down, worship, adore, and lie in the dust before the Lord.
George Whitefield
Christ's life, death, resurrection, and return are the central theme of all of history. All of humankind's stories must therefore be viewed within that framework.

We can have great certainty concerning the fulfillment of God's promises because grace and faith are the foundation of our assurance. "Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace so that the promise might be sure to all the seed."Grace is the heavenly resource behind all of God's promises. Faith is the simple means of accessing that grace.
When the Lord comes into our lives He cleans us up. We don't stay the same. The true sign and wonder of a Christ-centered life are right-living.
Through the promises of God, all who believe can experience spiritual rest. Initially, those who believe enjoy rest from the guilt and condemnation of sin. Additionally, those whose faith embraces other promises from God can enjoy rest from carnal striving and worldly indulgence.

The Lord is near. No matter what is going on in your life right now, He is present. So close. He will never leave your side. Are you listening for His quiet whisper? Are you watching for His goodness and kindness?
Do not let your heart be troubled. God is with you no matter what is going on in your life today. He’s here to calm your nerves and settle your heart. He’s here if you’re afraid. He’s with you.
One of the best things we can do when we are suffering is to help someone else. Maybe that doesn’t seem to make sense. But it actually makes all the sense in the world. It can be very easy to have a pity party, to draw back into our little cocoons and isolate ourselves from everyone else. But if we will go out and help other people, we will find comfort as we are distributing it.
The only reason that men and women can be saved is the fact that God has put eternity in our hearts!

God’s plan of salvation is seen in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. God has put eternity in our hearts. When a person finds salvation through Christ, a void is filled in their hearts; and they become part of the bigger picture in the scope of God’s eternal plan.
7 reasons Christ deserves your very best:
1. He created you
2. He lived for you
3. He died for You
4. He rose for you
5. He intercedes for you
6. He is coming back for you
And the last one is a good enough reason all by itself…
7. He is God
