TV screen altars where you worship your sports or Hollywood deities?
Science buildings where you place your faith for the salvation of mankind in science?
Sex-goddess posters and beer pyramids?
The altar of your soul, where you deep down suspect there is a God? The God you suspect exists is THE One who made the world and everything in it, including YOU!
He is the Lord of heaven and earth, not dwelling in temples made by hands, and needing nothing from you, for He is THE One who gives life and breath to all living things. (Acts 17:24)
He is the One who made every nation on earth, determined their preappointed times, and set their boundaries so that they might seek Him.
(Acts 17:26)
He is the One who sent His only Son— Jesus— to die for your sins on the cross, was buried, and resurrected on the third day, just as it's written in the Scriptures.
He is the God Jesus spoke of, the One from the Bible, who spoke through prophets in the past and now in His Word.
Not the God who diminishes women, seeks only our money, or opposes our pleasure. We don't believe in the God that the world decided to create, reshape, and distort! We want you to believe in the God revealed to the world through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!
The One people saw dying on the cross and testifying of His resurrection! We are vessels created to 'worship.' Every person walking on this earth is made for worship, even if they’ve never heard the gospel.
What gods have you formed over the years? Who or what are you worshiping today?
Are you ever dissatisfied with the futility of this life?
That dissatisfaction is your yearning for immortality, for your true purpose in life—the true life that God created you for — Your soul is craving the One and True God!
If this resonates with you, then there are things you must come to peace with. Bring them to Jesus, take them to the Lord in prayer, and bow down to the King of kings and Lord of lords. The One who has appointed a day in which He will judge the world with righteousness! The One who is ready to forgive your sins, show you grace and mercy, and welcome you into His kingdom today!
