We Can Only Imagine That It Would Be Like

Soon the world will be shaken, and they will witness the power of resurrection once again!

Those who died in Christ will rise from the dead when the Lord Himself descends from heaven and commands with the sound of the trumpet. And we who are alive in Him will be lifted to be caught up together with them!

 

👉🏼This earth will tremble! It will testify to Jesus' triumph over death and sin, fulfilling His promise of resurrection for those who belong to Him!

 

💫We can only imagine that it would be like the resurrection of the first fruits when Jesus was resurrected. According to Matthew 27:52-53, at the moment of Christ's resurrection, the tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, coming out of the tombs after His resurrection and appearing to many.

 

🙌🏼Every single Christian who has ever walked on this earth and died believing in Jesus and in His promise of resurrection to eternal life will see it fulfilled! They (we) will be resurrected and lifted to heaven to meet Jesus in the air.

 

📖"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord."

(1 Thessalonians 4:15-17)

 

💣The opening of tombs and the resurrection of believers serve as a powerful testament to the victory of Christ over sin and death, reaffirming the hope of eternal life for all who trust in Him. It will be an incredible testimony for those who will be left behind and millions will be saved!

 

👆🏼Those left behind could also be part of the third great resurrection, which will occur when Christ returns to earth (His Second Coming) at the end of the Tribulation period.

 

👉🏼 Following the rapture of the Church, the Tribulation marks the next event in God's prophetic calendar after the Church Age. Jesus referred to it as a period of monumental suffering and turmoil, unlike anything humanity has ever experienced before. It suggests that without God's intervention to shorten this time of tribulation, no one would survive.

 

📖"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened." Matt 24:22

 

👉🏼It will be the most horrific period the world will ever experience, characterized by severe judgment. While all believers from the Church Age will have been taken, millions of people from all nations and races will remain on earth and will come to the realization of reality during this time - turning to Jesus as their Savior.

 

👉🏼Tragically, the majority of them will have to die for their faith in Jesus during the Great Tribulation. Despite perishing during this period of trial, they will be resurrected upon Christ's return and will reign with Him for a thousand years during the Millennium.

 

📖"After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

 

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

 

And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”

 

So, he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Rev 7

 

⚠️The sudden disappearance of millions of people, both dead and alive, will cause global panic. Families and communities will be thrown into chaos as loved ones vanish before their eyes. Authorities and media outlets may struggle to provide explanations, leading to speculation and lies. It will pave the rise of the Antichrist, global deception, and the return of Jesus after 7 years to judge the nations and to reign on this earth from Jerusalem.
