We're not living the final hours but the final seconds!
It's time to discern the times and time to discern the truth!
Many people are tripping over the most important issue - Salvation! Daniel turned to "the books" for understanding and turn to God for prayer.
Daniel understood from reading "the books" (the Scriptures back then) the word that God gave Jeremiah the prophet - that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years.
After doing this, Daniel poured out his heart to God. He prayed and confessed his sins, and Israel's sins, and interceded. What happened after that was amazing - He received a vision and he was "given the skill to understand." You can read all this in Daniel 9. Daniel is an example of how confident we as believers should feel when we turn to the Bible, The complete Word of God to find understanding and answers to all our questions - and also turn to God in prayer for extra revelation. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us! He helps in every step! Salvation should be something so simple and easy to understand. We should come to that knowledge with a child-like mind. Unfortunately, our adult minds make it so complex and throw us so far away because of all the dust we have accumulated throughout the years.
We're saved when we believe in Jesus, in His complete work on the cross, that He died for our sins, was buried, and resurrected to give us eternal life.
This is the gospel according to Paul (1 Corinthians 15:1-5) " I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."
Go to the Scriptures find the truth and right after turn to God in prayer!
