THE FIG TREE GENERATION

As the fig tree generation, we proudly celebrate Israel's 75th birthday since its rebirth as a nation in 1948! We are the ones who witnessed Israel's birth as a nation and the generation that will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air! Time is short! Jesus is coming!

As Tuesday's sundown arrived, Israelis began their celebration of Yom Ha'Atzmaut, a day that signifies the transformation of mourning into joy. For 75 years, they have cherished their independence, which was divinely appointed and foretold 2,500 years ago.

"Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children?" (Isaiah 66:8)

Jesus said in the parable of the fig tree (Israel being the fig tree) when He was talking about the end times. “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.”

According to Psalm 90:10, a generation is considered to be 70-80 years. With Israel's 75th birthday and with 7 years of tribulation ahead of us, the question on everyone's minds is: how soon is the pre-trib rapture?

As believers, we know that Jesus promised to return for His church, and He also gave us signs to look for to know when His return is near. In Matthew 24, Jesus speaks of the signs of the end times, including deception, wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pestilences, the distress of nations with perplexity, cosmic signs and wonders, and the world's moral condition deteriorating.

He also warns of the rise of false prophets.

He compares the end times to birth pangs, a metaphor that implies increasing frequency and intensity as the end approaches. While we do not know the exact day or hour of the rapture, we can recognize the signs of the times and know that we are living in the last days.

So, are we seeing enough of these signs lately to suggest that the birth pangs are becoming more frequent and intense? Some say that the world has always had wars, earthquakes, and moral decline, but the frequency and intensity of these events have increased dramatically in recent years.

We are that fig tree generation that has seen the restoration of Israel as a nation, and we are the generation that will see the rapture!

As we approach the end of the age of grace, time is running out for those who have not yet put their faith in Jesus. It's time to come to Jesus!! He's coming soon for His Church!!

Happy Birthday Israel!!! We're one year closer to our King of Kings and Lord of Lords!!! Look up He's coming soon in the air!!
