Take Heed That No One Deceives You."

Jesus said, "Take heed that no one deceives you."

Pay close attention, be cautious, and be on guard! Discern and test everything against the truth of God's Word. Deception is out and about, roaming every corner of this earth, waiting to find someone to devour!

In Matthew 24 when Jesus is speaking to his disciples about the signs of the end times, the first thing He warns against is deception. False preachers and prophets are intensifying and perfecting the level of deception in this very last hour!

If we were watching a movie, this would be the point where we could see Satan's minions suddenly proliferating at an alarming rate, appearing everywhere and using everyone to try to make Christians stumble and fall. They twist the Scriptures and come up with very convincing theories, using sophisticated techniques that can even deceive the most grounded Christian.

In this day and age, it is more important than ever to test the spirit of everything we read, watch, or listen to. We have power over these false teachings because 'the One Who lives in us is stronger than the one who is in the world.'"

"It is the teaching of the false-christ. You have heard that this teaching is coming. It is already here in the world. My children, you are a part of God’s family. You have stood against these false preachers and had power over them. You had power over them because the One Who lives in you is stronger than the one who is in the world." (1 John 4:3-4)

Jesus is warning us about the grave danger of spiritual deception, which is a common theme throughout the Bible, BUT intensifies during the end times. His message exhorts us to exercise discernment, seek the truth, and reject being misled by false teachers or prophets who deceitfully claim to speak for God but are, in fact, promoting their own agenda.

It's time to seek "The Truth", which is Jesus! He is the Son of God, who died on the cross for our sins, He was buried and resurrected during the third day, so we can have eternal life with Him.

The moment you believe in Him and that He died for your sins, you're saved, justified, sealed until the day of redemption, and rapture ready! The Holy Spirit will come to live inside of you - He will help you, guide you, change you, and be with you FOREVER! He will deliver you from deception!

He is the One who gives you the power over ALL false teachings!
