QUOTES

Don't feel that because you haven't lived as you should have for some 10, 20, 30, 40; or however many years you have lost your opportunity. Get in the race. There is still a place for you. There are opportunities that God will give you.

One drop of Christ’s blood is worth more than heaven and earth.

~Martin Luther~

Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.

Maya Angelou

Think about when we will stand before God one day, and He becomes the ultimate judge. There are two different judgments. To the Christian, we stand before the Bema Seat of Christ, to the non- believer, the White Throne Judgment.

The White Throne Judgment, in Revelation 28:11-15, is for those who have died without Christ and have gone to hell.

Maya Angelou

Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination

One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

Sometimes the church becomes our stage where we play “Let’s Pretend.” But as the audience applauds our performance, the Director’s voice grows faintly dim. Let us do the word and not be a hearer only deceiving our selves. If you are not growing, ever changing, you are a statue, a book end, only collecting dust. Be the vessel that God has planed you to be.

The promises of God are part of our spiritual weaponry. We can stand victorious in battle by the promises of God, just as the Apostle Paul did. "Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you…And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them" (Acts 18:9-11).

Blessed is death, since it, through the divine power, disrobes us of this work-day garment, to clothe us with the wedding garment of incorruption. Blessed are those who "sleep in Jesus."

Charles Spurgeon

The grass is always greener where you water it.

There is no such cruelty to men’s souls as clemency to their sins.

Today set self aside and if it does not come to pass after you gave it your all be thankful it did'ent......

Unless we are like minded, it would be safe to say your ways are not the same as mine and most assuredly not God's way. But God has put us in the world to be a light in darkness. Jesus said in John 17, He was not taking us out of the world but He would protect us in it.

THAT YOU MAY KNOW

H.A. Ironside (1876-1951) was a turn-of-the-century American Bible teacher, pastor, and author. An observer recounted this story of Ironside ministering to an elderly man unsure of his salvation.

The man said to Ironside, "I will not go on unless I know I'm saved, or else know it's hopeless to seek to be sure of it. I want a definite witness, something I can't be mistaken about!"

Ironside replied, "Suppose you had a vision of an angel who told you your sins were forgiven. Would that be enough to rest on?"

"Yes, I think it would. An angel should be right," the man replied.

"But suppose on your deathbed Satan came and said, 'I was that angel, transformed to deceive you'," Ironside continued. What would you say?"

The man was speechless. Ironside then said that God has given us something more dependable than the voice of an angel. He has given His Son, who died for our sins, and He has testified in His own Word that if we trust Him all our sins are gone.

Ironside read 1 John 5:13, "You may know that you have eternal life." Then he said, "Is that not enough to rest on? It is a letter from heaven expressly to you." God's Spirit used that to bring assurance to the man's heart.

God's promises had guaranteed that Israel would be delivered from bondage in Egypt. Here, God promises to fight for His people, assuring them of victory in battle as they entered the Promised Land.

My philosophy is to "kill the monster while it's little." The best time to handle a "negative" emotion is when you first begin to feel it. It's much more difficult to interrupt an emotional pattern once it's full-blown.

Embrace the Essence of Your beauty... The core of Your Spirit will Soar and radiantly SHINE!

The decisions we make, good or bad, affect the people around us, the people we love. We can lead them to a closer walk with the Lord, or we can lead them away from the Lord.

We will be held accountable for our sins before the Lord, but even more if we cause one of God’s people to be led away from Him.

We are called to be faithful.

Only One Way....There is "No Other" When God Judges Me I know I'll Be Blessed...Thank U Jesus

It's inevitable that you will disagree when you spend your life together. But it's important that you never stop talking and working toward unity.

Marriage takes two, yes, but it also requires that you're both engaged emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually in fighting for your union.

Love is not fleeting, feelings are. Love is many things but fleeting is not one of them.

Love says "I will stay by your side when no one else will." Love says "I will walk with you through any circumstance, even when the outcome is uncertain." That's love.

How do we know this is love? Jesus.

Jesus loves us despite our sin. He loves broken people, and he brings us close despite our being unloveable.

Not only did we do nothing to earn Christ's love, we actually do things daily that would push him away from us.

There are some needs only you can see. There are some hands only you can hold. There are some people only you can reach. • Timothy Keller

If God's grace was enough for our salvation why do we live as though it is not enough for our circumstances.

Sheep aren't driven. They are led. Be an example to the flock.

You don't fall into love. You commit to it. Love is saying I will be there no matter what. • Timothy Keller

When faced with hypocritical people, we are not meant to JUDGE them, but to help GUIDE them.

“Love is the key to the entire therapeutic program of the modern psychiatric hospital.”

Dr. Karl Menninger

Unity. Unity is unmistakable and irreplaceable in a healthy marriage. God's word says "they shall become one flesh". Not two people with a common goal, but one flesh. Combined. Unified.

If God can turn a rock into a pool of water, if God can make water flow from flint, then he can transform our hearts even when they seem to be impervious to his grace.

Sin doesn't cost Christians their salvation, any more than good acts make the unsaved righteous. It has to do with our character. Whose do we have? Has our old nature been replaced with the new one we gained in Christ?

We need to make a conscious decision every day that we are going to live a life of forgiveness and mercy.

“Forgiveness is the giving, and so the receiving of life.”—George MacDonald

“Mercy and forgiveness must be free and unmerited to the wrongdoer. If the wrongdoer has to do something to merit it, then it isn’t mercy, but forgiveness always comes at a cost to the one granting the forgiveness.”—Tim Keller

Like Jesus, we have the privilege and calling of shining God’s light, God’s love, and truth, into the darkness around us.

One of the many things I've learned over the years is that our God isn't just the God of big ministries and five-year plans -- he is the Savior of you and me -- one person at a time. Sometimes He will interrupt your big plans because He has "one" person He wants you to talk to. The problem is we have to slow down our pace as well as our assumptions or we will miss our "real" purpose.

we need to make time for the Lord. It is then that we can hear Him -- when we've cleared the buzz of our own thoughts and activities from our minds.

There are times in leadership when we find ourselves isolated. Sometimes we find ourselves there of our own making. We’ve had to make some hard decisions with which everyone else strongly disagrees, and we feel alone. Sometimes it’s the result of others’ actions. We find ourselves marginalized politically or even have our organization “right-sized” out of existence. Where once we had colleagues and superiors who supported us, we now find ourselves isolated.

The Christian life is a maimed life initially, but in Matthew 5:48 Jesus gave us the picture of a perfectly well-rounded life— “You shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” #myutmost

At the end of our lives it will not matter if we behaved righteously for man's eyes.. to be a follower of any group and or movement.. It will not matter if I have the world's proud possessions and have lost my way in the world's ideals..

It will MATTER MOST that I followed the LORD's Word and exemplified his character and glorified HIM through my actions and my behavior.. It will MATTER MOST that I have salvation.

Where does the church fit into your priorities (and I'm not just talking about the worship service on Sunday morning)? At the top or near the bottom? Does someone have to put you in a "headlock" to get you to attend a church function (other than worship)? Why? What has taken priority over God's Word and His family for you?

Look around you. People are so empty and miserable; they do not know the love of God. Despite your tribulations, God will use them for His glory, as you share with others the love, peace, grace, and comfort of God.

“A Christian man is the freest lord of all and subject to none; a Christian man is the most dutiful servant of all, and subject to everyone.” —

Martin Luther

The enemy is coming after everything we hold dear. Children, biblical marriage, biblical truth, and biblical morals. He will try to normalize sin, make Christianity look like hate, and scare us to stop talking.

Now more than ever, at least in my lifetime, we have to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit so everything thing we do is in truth and love!!

Personal sin never stays personal. It will always affect others.

One of the many things I've learned over the years is that our God isn't just the God of big ministries and five-year plans -- he is the Savior of you and me -- one person at a time. Sometimes He will interrupt your big plans because He has "one" person He wants you to talk to.

People keep asking, "do you think Jesus is coming back soon? Here is my answer: I don't know, but I do know that today is a lot closer than yesterday was. And, here is my question: Are you ready?

Fifty Shades of Grey (first released in 2015) has resurfaced, and is currently back in the Top 10 on Netflix. My sisters, who claim to follow Jesus, if you’re praying for your husbands and sons to have clean eyes and pure hearts, but you’re also consuming this trash… You need to know that’s a very mixed and hypocritical message. Purity in what you watch is not only for men. It’s for you, too.

I’m often asked by Christians, “should we use someone”s ‘preferred pronouns’.” Here are 4 reasons why I don’t use, or ask for “preferred pronouns.” 1) It’s tied to an obvious cultural agenda. This was never a thing, until very recently. 2) As Christian leader, how am I going to be a steward of the truth, while at the exact same time affirming a lie? 3) When will the shift take place? Some people will say we do it for the “spiritually lost.” However, what if they do become a believer? At what point in the discipleship process will you have to tell someone that you actually never believed in their “preferred pronoun” to begin with? Isn’t it better to lovingly stick to the truth from the beginning, so it doesn’t seem like a “bait and switch” down the road? 4) Others in the ministry are watching. If I compromise there, then I have to also ask, “Am I discipling people to believe the whole movement is okay?” Be kind. Be loving. Don’t look to argue. We can be welcoming without being affirming. Look to win people with Spirit and Truth, because we can’t win them with confusion and compromise.
