Just because Christians don't celebrate or affirm something, doesn't mean that they hate or are scared of the people involved in it.

To my young Christian brothers, Asking, “how do I get invited to speak at _______?” is the wrong question. Instead, ask, “How do I develop holy habits? How do I effectively serve others? How do I lead my family? How do I disciple others?” Those are the right questions!

If God was only love, there would be no cross for the Christ. If God was only just, there would be no Christ for the cross. God is love. God is just. Both are fully true at the same time.

It blows my mind how people can lose sight of what is important, just to have something to say. Keep it real in the Lord

D.L. Moody, the great evangelist and Bible teacher of the late 1800's, was scheduled to speak at a conference. The night before the first session, a group of young men decided to get together and spend all night praying. And indeed they did, praying all night for Mr. Moody, as well as the people attending the conference. The next morning, as the group of young men saw Mr. Moody coming out of his room, they stopped him and said, "Mr. Moody, we have been up all night praying." Moody replied, "Oh that's wonderful, gentlemen." But the young men continued, "We were up all night praying; can't you see that our faces are shining?" Moody looked at them and said, "You know it is interesting; the Bible tells us that Moses knew not that his face was shining."

What a great illustration and reminder for us that we should be seeking to glorify God rather than ourselves. I think we miss it when we take the focus off God and His glory. Keep the main thing the main thing because God will not share His glory with anyone and even if we could get that far then all our works are burned up. Oh don't worry you will be saved as by the fire but what a waist.

I love the fact my family is saved. Some times we don't want to be bothered with each other and sometimes love is unending but one thing is certen we will all be together in heaven.

The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.

"Never put a question mark where GOD has put a period." ~ John R. Rice

"You can't change everything in one night, but one night can change everything."

"Nothing we learn in this world is ever wasted." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

One of the favorite questions posed by skeptics and unbelievers is this one: "What about those who've never heard the Good News? God wouldn't condemn them in their ignorance, would He?" They usually go on and give you a few examples, just to drive home their argument. "What about the guy who's never been to a church, or that person in India, or Alaska, or Central or South America or Africa?" The next time someone asks you that, open your Bible to Romans, chapter one, and say, "That's an interesting question. Let's see what God has to say about it."

What Paul says in Romans is this: "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness." In other words, anyone on this planet who rejects God is suppressing the truth. They may not have come in contact with the Bible, or had someone share their faith with them, but they have had plenty of contact with God's general revelation. "Because that which is known about God" said Paul, "is evident within them, for God made it evident to them." We are born with an inclination toward God! It's built in! And furthermore, "Since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes, His divine nature have been clearly seen." In creation and in our hearts alone, there is overwhelming evidence for God!

Dr. Ed Young

“Life and business is like the changing seasons. You cannot change the seasons, but you can change yourself. Therein lies the opportunity to live an extraordinary life--the opportunity to change yourself.” Jim Rohn

“The greatest step toward success is self-confidence. The greatest builder of self-confidence is self-esteem, and self-esteem comes from doing the daily things you know you should do. Sometimes your self-esteem will start to soar when you make some critical decisions--decisions to walk a new road, to start a new direction, to start a new discipline.” Jim Rohn

“What you want will pull like a magnet. Here's the other part. What for? Purpose is stronger than object. It's the 'What for?' that's even more powerful than the object. And the more you can describe in detail to stir the emotion and the intellect and the spirit and the soul, then the more powerful the 'what for' is.” Jim Rohn

“Ideas plus Inspiration; that's the mixture that really turns things on, sends an entrepreneur program into high gear. We need ideas for the goals and plans and we need inspiration for the emotional vitality. To put it to work, to make it flow, to make it multiply.” Jim Rohn

“Attitude is your acceptance of the natural laws, or your rejection of the natural laws.”

“The most important question to ask on the job is not ‘What am I getting?’ The most important question to ask on the job is ‘What am I becoming?’” – Jim Rohn

The fear of God is the soul of godliness

~John Murray~

The message of God's law is: be loving. Love God fully. Love others sacrificially.

When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps. -Confucius

Have your own vision & stick with it. Don't be afraid to be unique. Every day is an opportunity to show what you can do at the highest level. Donald J. Trump

Life gets tangled. People mess up. We never outgrow the urge to look up and say, “Help!” And when we do, look who shows up! Jesus, our next door Savior.

Max Lucado

If you tell God no because He won't explain the reason He wants you to do something, you are actually hindering His blessing. But when you say yes to Him, all of heaven opens to pour out His goodness and reward your obedience. What matters more than material blessings are the things He is teaching us in our spirit.

Charles Stanley

"I love you but I'm not IN love with you" is a lie.

Love that begins and ends with your own happiness isn't love, it's selfishness with a mask on.

"Man never achieves a clear knowledge of himself unless he has first looked upon God’s face.” - John Calvin

Remember: you can't change your spouse's heart. Only God can.

Rest. Pray. Trust & know that God is sovereign and at work.

He is far busier than we could possibly know, and He's in the heart-changing business.

Believing that truth will give you freedom to love and grace to endure.

Sometimes we sacrifice DEPENDENCY because we exalt URGENCY.

When we are TRULY looking to our God for His answers in a situation, we can wait. God uses waiting as a conduit to infuse His strength into us.

It's often been said that God has no grandchildren, only children—meaning the choice to follow Jesus and be a child of God is not up to our parents, teachers, or pastors. It's up to each of us, on our own.

As believers, one day we will all stand before the Lord to receive our commendation. Not condemnation or criticism, but reward.

It is not our job to sit in judgment of anyone who might not be doing everything we think they should do.

Another proof of the conquest of a soul for Christ will be found in a real change of life. If the man does not live differently from what he did before, both at home and abroad, his repentance needs to be repented of, and his conversion is a fiction.

~C H Spurgeon~

When you became a believer you received salvation and forgiveness of your sins. Not by anything you did, but because of God's grace.

Salvation is always “good news.” It is news of God’s love and forgiveness—adoption into His family—fellowship with His people—freedom from the penalty of sin—liberation from the power of sin.

~Billy Graham~

My obedience to Jesus is strengthened because I believe He is the author of Creation, the Redeemer, and my Savior. He alone deserves my worship and praise. I believe on that day I come before the Lord -- naked except for my chains of sin -- Jesus will come for me -- He will stand before the God and claim me as His. That is such a great sense of relief -- knowing my Lord will come for me.

Jesus Christ is God in human flesh, and the story of His life, death, and resurrection is the only Good News the world will ever hear.

~Billy Graham~

There‘s no better book with which to defend the Bible than the Bible itself.

~D.L. Moody~

Jesus came to bring wholeness to broken people, and even to a broken world. His salvation is not merely about physical healing or even life after death. It’s a matter of pervasive restoration. For individuals, it includes the healing of bodies, minds, hearts, and relationships. For the world, the wholeness of Jesus involves justice for the oppressed and peace for the creation.

Randy Alcorn

God sometimes doesn’t perform the miracle we asked for. Yet, He performs many other miracles of grace and comfort, personal transformation, and increased dependence on Jesus, and almost certainly many other miracles we don’t yet know of but one day will.t is perilously possible to make our conceptions of God like molten lead poured into a specially designed mould, and when it is cold and hard we fling it at the heads of the religious people who don’t agree with us.

When we think life is dark, Christ knows better. Look up. The light is coming.

Worship is giving God the best that He has given you.

When you’re young, you like action. You like change. A common phrase young people use is “I’m bored.” But when you get older, you kind of start to like boredom. The older you get, the more you enjoy routine.

Here’s the good news: If you’ve lived for Jesus Christ all those years, you have lost nothing (except maybe a few hairs). You’re getting closer to the day when you will see Him face-to-face. And you can look back with no regrets.
