QUOTES

I DON'T WANT MOTIVATION, I WANT TRANSFORMATION.

The Bible teaches us that we are enemies of God and objects of his wrath until we come to faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:1-3). But even in that state, we were loved by God. Because of his love and mercy, he gave his son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sins. When we come in faith in God, trusting the sacrifice of Christ, our whole relationship with God changes to a condition of peace and friendship with him. We are reconciled to God the moment we become Christians. We have peace with him.

"I've read the last page of the Bible. It's all going to turn out all right." -Billy Graham.

Jesus is the alpha and the omega (the beginning and the end). This tells me that He alone is my solution for all difficulties -- so why not look to Him as my first option rather than last resort?

A nation gets the leaders it deserves. ~

When faithfulness is most difficult it is most necessary.

These are uncertain times we're living in, but one thing is very certain: Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

C. H. Spurgeon said, "The Lord knows your troubles before they come to you; he anticipates them by his tender foresight."

There is a simple word I love to use, It's Sovereignty. Our Lord is Sovereign. So we have His Moral will in his word. But we can not and will not know His Sovereign Will. This is why we need faith in our day-to-day lives.

“Without action, without decision, you remain in possibility, which is safe and beautiful but eventually enervating and boring.”

— Jennifer Louden

When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost.

Billy Graham

God will give the rebel what he chooses

and what he deserves.

This is a fallen world, and the kingdom is a coming kingdom. Sickness and sin stalk our planet. But neither sin nor sickness will have dominion over God’s people. Sin cannot condemn us and disease cannot destroy us. Guilt is defanged, and death has lost its sting.

At the moment I sin, I desire the sin more than I desire to please God.

~R.C. Sproul~

We are saved by God’s grace when we believe in Jesus and put our faith in him, but biblical belief is more than something we confess with our mouths; it’s something we confess with our lives.

I think Jesus has a lot of fair-weather followers today. They will be Christians when it is convenient, when it is easy, or when it is the cool thing to do. But the moment it gets difficult, when hardship hits and when persecution comes, they are out of there. They are not true followers. They are not real disciples. That is why we are not turning our world upside down.

We see these mass shootings and see the saints that give all glory to God but the news wants a story so, they promote violence to arouse the masses. Forget the brief time they give to the pastor who lost a daughter or the two men who chased the man they want to stir the pot of anger and focus on the gun, how the gunman was able to get it, how many rounds he shot, and so on. They criticize the president for saying it is not a gun issue it is a mental health issue, as to say guns soot themselves. But that is the world and it is not going to change. My wife and I read a post that says "They think by making guns illegal there won't be any more shootings". Then it went on to say "That is what they thought about drugs".

It is times like these when our country comes together as a people and when there is adversity believers pray together.

Pride gets no pleasure out of having something, only out of having more of it than the next man… It is the comparison that makes you proud: the pleasure of being above the rest. Once the element of competition

is gone, pride is gone.

~C.S. Lewis~

Criminals look like normal people and could be next-door neighbors. Always know your surroundings.

Evil purposes cannot overpower God's goodness, and evil forces cannot escape His judgment. Let's be strong and await His return.

A right understanding of the Bible opens to us the only path

into the presence of God.

~A. W. Tozer~

If you are not serving, you should be and that does not mean in the church alone, we are the church. Do the great commission and serve the least.

"God wants us to be spiritually strong and has provided us with every resource we need.

— Billy Graham

We don’t need to ask God for dew on animal skins, but we can ask Him to confirm His word to us. This can come in a lot of ways. God can speak to us through circumstances as we sense that something is the will of God and doors are opening for us. But we also must have God’s peace when we’re asking God to lead us. Perhaps there’s a stirring in your heart. You’re dissatisfied with where you are and sense that something new is about to happen.
