Woe is me if I preach not the Gospel Of Jesus Christ!

The only people who can ever walk in victory over the world are born-again believers in Jesus Christ. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world." We desperately need the overcoming grace of God, because of the earthly enticements that the devil can use against us. "For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world" (1Jn2:16)

Jesus was an Orthodox Jew who did things in an unorthodox way, He ate with the sinners and unwanted, He went through Samaria, a place despised by the Jews because they where half Jew and half Gentile, He healed om the Sabbath, went around the dead, and took 40 stripes not 39 and then to top it off He said Father forgive them for they know not what they do.

Letting go of sin must be a daily activity; it's difficult and trying to live by faith and to walk in the Spirit is a daily lifestyle of the believer. It's simple and focused, but nobody said it would be easy.

We are not merely to serve Christ;

we are to be like Him.

~Derek Copley~

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5)

The enemy of our souls would love to devour our lives. "Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8). We can enjoy protection from the devil through faith. "Resist him, steadfast in the faith" (1 Peter 5:9). When the enemy cannot devastate us by direct attack, he still desires to pull us down into defeat, using the pitfalls and temptations available to him through the entire world system. Bob Hoekstra

We don’t contemplate the blessing of water until we’re thirsty, or the nourishment of bread until hungry.

Dr. Ed Young

It is absolutely certain that the world will bring to us all many troubles and trials. Our fully sufficient hope is the Lord Jesus Christ.

None are so near falling as those who are most confident in their own standing.

~William Burkitt~

When we step out in faith, encouragement can make all the difference for good and

discouragement can make all the difference for evil.

Most Christians don’t recognize strongholds. But we don’t have to be among them. Our weapons are from God and have divine power to demolish strongholds. Isn’t that what you want? Keep God at center stage. Turn off the computer and open the Bible more! And turn to God for help.

If you let one thing go, you are going to let other things go and eventually you are going to find yourself in a big mess. You cannot agree with people sinning against the Lord. The alternative to discipline is disaster.

~Vance Havner~

It's important how we view God, because that will determine how we view life. Let me take it a step further: our view of God will dictate how we live. It will determine the decisions we make. In fact, there are no areas of our lives that are not impacted by how we view God.

Empty your cup into others that you may be filled!

― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

"You don’t marry one person; you marry three: the person you think they are, the person they are, and the person they are going to become as a result of being married to you."

~ Richard Needham ~

The Holy Spirit––the third person of the trinity, convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8). Jesus must not be rejected, but to resist the person and work of the Holy Spirit leads to blasphemy.

He never sins against the Holy Ghost that fears

he has sinned against the Holy Ghost.

~William Bridge~

Leaders need to remain teachable. They must be able to learn from what other people have to say. They may fail to receive from different teachers the Lord is using, and they become critical. Honestly, it does not matter who is speaking. Why? It is the Word of God, and God’s Word never comes back void.

Raul Ries~

We must remain teachable. We must be able to learn from what other people have to say by the Spirit.

If we are serving just to be serving and doing just to be doing to say I am busy we will get burned out after a season. You will be most effective when you change your attitude, be content, and serve God right where you are using the gifts He has given you.

God calls us to be his servants, all work serves his purpose and therefore has ultimate meaning, even when we can’t make sense of it.

So much of marriage is learning to move ahead as one... learning how to move through hardship, hurt, and frustration. Couples begin growing apart the moment they stop growing together.

Knowing the Bible is one thing. Having a relationship with the Author is another.

D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones: “The cross, with all its mighty paradoxes, is a spectacle which makes anything that you can think of in history, or anything that you can imagine, simply pale into insignificance.”

Sí se puede. (Yes I Can)

If a person gets his attitude toward money straight, it will help straighten out almost every other area in his life.

~Billy Graham~

Integrity is the glue that holds our way of life together. We must constantly strive to keep our integrity intact. When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost.

~Billy Graham~

The gift of eternal life is insanity to some yet revelation to others.

A tender heart is a wakeful, watchful heart. It watches against sin in the soul, sin in the calling, sin in spiritual duties, and performance.
