Your blood is pretty powerful and important stuff! But the blood of Jesus is even more powerful.
We couldn’t live without our blood and we can’t live eternally in Heaven without the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is the best gift we’ve ever received! It’s amazing!
If God has said no to your prayer recently, don’t think that it’s necessarily a bad thing. It could be a very good thing because God loves you and sees the big picture. There is a place for faith and prayer. But God may overrule our requests, especially when we ask for something that will harm us.
When our will is subject to His will, when we experience the power of obedience we will live the abundant life Jesus promised.
The more we grow in the knowledge of God, the more we gain what is important for life. Our happiness in this life comes as a direct result of growing in our relationship with Christ.
The key is that you can never stop growing and learning. We are a generation mesmerized and pacified by social media, the internet, television, and artificial life forms. Too many are zoning out on life, tuning out God, resisting His desire to tame our destructive wills and nurture our spirits.
Leonard Ravenhill, the author and prayer warrior, tells the story of a group of tourists in a picturesque historic village in Europe. They saw an old man sitting by a fence and in a rather condescending way, asked him if any great men had been born in this village.
“Nope,” he replied. “Only babies.”
The Bible says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done” (Philippians 4:6 NLT).
"The generous outpouring of God's love not only nurtures our own hearts, but it overflows into every relationship we have."

The Lord has the power to fill our emptiness in ways only He can satisfy.
The Lord desires that we should have great certainty concerning His promises. Our God does not want us to be plagued with apprehension concerning the fulfillment of His promises. In all that God has promised, He intends for us to stand in bedrock assurance: "that the promise might be sure to all the seed." This certainty is based upon two sets of related truths: one between His promises and His grace, and another between His grace and faith in Him.
Grace is the beginning, the middle, and the end of the entire work of salvation; it is totally devoid of human merit.
There are times when the soul is too big to speak; when God fills it as it were, and overshadows it with his presence so that it can only fall down, worship, adore, and lie in the dust before the Lord.
George Whitefield
Today in Christian History: August 3, 1739
English revivalist George Whitefield wrote in a letter: 'I am no friend to sinless perfection. I believe the existence (though not the dominion) of sin remains in the hearts of the greatest believers.'
Herod sent 16 soldiers to guard Peter. God sent 1 angel to free Peter.
No power of man can thwart God’s plans.
You will know God heard your prayer, not because your problem has been solved. You know God has heard your prayer because of the peace He gives you.

A great many people live all their life under the bondage of death, and they fear judgment; but if a man's life is hidden with Christ in God, there is nothing to fear in time or in eternity.
D.L. Moody
"We cannot bear to be his enemies any longer; distance from him has become distasteful to us; we long, like the prodigal son, to arise and go to our Father, that we may hereafter dwell in our Father's house." - Charles Spurgeon

A minister, a Boy Scout, and a computer expert were the only passengers on a small plane. The pilot came back to the cabin to report that the plane was going down, but there were only three parachutes. “I should have one, “ the pilot said,” because I have a wife and three small children.” He took one and jumped. The computer genius said, “I should have one because I am the smartest man in the world.” He took one and jumped. The minister turned to the Boy Scout and with a sad smile said, “You are young and I have lived a rich life, so you take the parachute, and I’ll go down with the plane.” The Boy Scout said, “Relax, Reverend, the smartest man in the world just picked up my backpack and jumped out.”
We can certainly be knowledgeable yet lack wisdom!
When the Holy Spirit came at Pentecost, He shed further light on the prophecies written about Jesus’ Second Coming. He gave understanding to references to the restoration of Israel. Know this: God has not forgotten Israel! He will use the Great Tribulation period to draw them back to Himself.
Jesus preached to “the lost sheep of Israel.” He died on the cross in Jerusalem. He was raised from the dead in Jerusalem. And the Bible teaches that our Savior is coming back again to reign and rule from Jerusalem. Why shouldn't we love Jews, then?

God’s power can’t come in to make you strong until you admit you are weak!
F.B. Meyer made this observation based on these verses: "It is very terrible when the children of the world have a higher sense of Christian propriety and fitness than Christians themselves."

Do you have a Bible? Read it! When anxiety termites away at your peace, read Philippians 4:6: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
God is not less real because people say they do not believe in Him.
Was every man on earth to become an atheist, it could not affect God in any way.

Warren Weirsbe said, "Before God gives his servants great victories in public, he sometimes prepares them by giving them smaller victories at home." You need to stand for righteousness and pour the Word of God into your spouse and into your children. You need to take a righteous stand for your community on behalf of God. If we don't practice our faith at home, how can we practice it sincerely anyplace else? Be a Godly man, and a Godly woman, in your household.
In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.
