Boundaries help us stay true to who we really are. When we own our boundaries and hold to them without a question mark at the end, it helps us avoid having those boundaries violated and having inappropriate responses as a result. Have you seen this play out in your own life? God created us to have boundaries and to respect the boundaries of others.
“Gazing up into the darkness I saw myself as a creature driven and derided by vanity, and my eyes burned with anguish and anger.”
Joyce, James, “Araby, Dubliners” (New York, NY: The Modern Library, 1993), p. 35.
We are all weak. All sinners. All need to be saved by grace.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
—Words and music: Helen H. Lemmel, 1922
“There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, ‘All right, then, have it your way.’” —C.S. Lewis
We must not settle for second-rate living anymore. We want to truly live, in Jesus’ name.
Our walk in faith is just that… a walk! We so often want to speed along in growth, but it takes time and intention to learn the ways of the Holy Spirit and become more like Jesus. Our identity is in Him!
As we celebrate freedom, let’s remember that Christ came to set us free not politically, but personally! We are free in Jesus!
The answer is always to cling to the Cross.
Cling to the Cross. No matter what is going on in your life today, the answer is “cling to the Cross”. Jesus came and paid for you. Personally. So no matter what you are enduring, know that Jesus is with you, for you, He loves you, He will never leave you, and the Cross is the proof of His unfailing love.

Are you struggling with guilt? Is it false guilt? You don’t have to carry that weight around! God has already forgiven you! Don’t live under the burden of if only. Unspeakable joy can be yours in Jesus! ~
If you love anything at all in this world more than God, you will crush that object under the weight of your expectations, and it will eventually break your heart. ~ Timothy Keller, prayer
Let’s get real, sisters. Is there anything — anything — that we hold more dearly than we hold Jesus? Our families or children? Our community or friends? Anything that sits in the place that only God belongs in will ultimately destroy us. It happens every time. Nothing can bear the weight of that place of adoration except the One who deserves it. ~
God did not stay far from our pain. He did not judge it from a distance. He did not pity it from the other side of the universe. He became it.
Are you on the floor physically or emotionally right now? Jesus is with you there. The Kingdom is already and not yet. We hope for what is to come but remain here for now. Thank Jesus, He is with us! Come share your thoughts with us.

There is in the covenant of grace a plentiful provision made, not only for the prevention of declensions and decay in believers but also for their continual carrying on towards perfection.
John Owen
My soul longs to feel itself more of a pilgrim and stranger here below; that nothing may divert me from pressing through the lonely desert, till I arrive at my Father’s house.

We cannot truly be in Christ and not be becoming more and more Holy as time goes on.

God. Even as God is light, so we are “light in the Lord” and “children of light.” Even as God is good, righteous, and true, so we will be people of goodness, righteousness, and truth when we allow God’s light to shine in and through us.
Today, you can celebrate that God is worthy and deserving of ALL honors. He makes the gift of His salvation free to anyone. Express your gratitude to Him with your best gift from the heart, like Barnabas.
“Joy is more than…earthly pleasure, more than what we call happiness. Joy is the enjoyment of God and the good things that come from the hand of God… For many, pleasure and happiness are fleeting experiences. But joy! Now we move into a different dimension…Joy is not happiness, it is the joy of salvation, the exultation of God’s Spirit in men and women, ‘good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.’ Joy becomes the ecstasy of eternity in a soul that has made peace with God.” Sherwood Wirt
Transformation can never come by Waring fancy athletic clothes or pace/ heart rate trackers. No more than a believer is transformed by the church alone. It will and must come with changes in lifestyle. We all are given wake-up calls. It is up to us to use it.
Don't let the Gospel message be rejected before it is heard because of our actions. Have you considered how your lifestyle or dress may offend others? Are you a proper witness?

God wants men to be free.
Free to demonstrate toughness when a situation or relationship demands it. Free to display grit, strength, commitment, and decisiveness under the Holy Spirit's direction. God also wants me to be free to demonstrate tenderness, sensitivity, and humility. Free to be vulnerable enough to foster intimacy and to shed tears.
Authentic masculinity produces a divine elasticity in men. Finally, they can lead with firmness, then submit with humility. They can challenge with a cutting edge, then encourage with enthusiasm. They can fight aggressively for a just cause, then moments later weep over suffering.
Secure, free, authentic men leave a mark -- on their colleagues, friends, wives, and especially their children.
God’s truth, revealed in His Word, is established forever, and upholds individuals, families and their institutions, no matter what.
*We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.
