When you look at the complexity of what students are learning in their schools versus the simplicity of what we’re teaching them in our churches… it can be pretty embarrassing. We don’t have to dumb it down, we must disciple them up. They can handle it
The only-loving, overly-nice all-inclusive non-judging tolerate Jesus often presented today would’ve never been crucified 2,000 yrs ago. People yelled “crucify”, because He said He is God, He is the Only Way, “you’re either with Me or against Me”, and called everyone sinners.
An ever-changing world desperately needs a never-changing God.
