QUOTES

Sometimes it seems as though you can’t overcome the sin you’ve been struggling with for so long. It seems as though you can’t break free from the addiction that has had a hold on your life for many years. And it seems as though you can’t get out of that lifestyle you are trapped in.

God is saying that you can—but not in your strength. You can do it in His strength. So, admit your weaknesses and inadequacies. Then ask God to help you utilize the principles for spiritual battle from His Word.

Realize that in Jesus Christ, you belong to the family of God. Don’t let the devil cheat you out of that truth. The Bible says, “So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7 NLT).

The devil knows that if he can separate you from God, you will become weak and vulnerable. That way he can pick you off, like a lion going after the weakest and most vulnerable animal in the herd. We need steely determination that says, “No, I’m going to church. I’m reading the Word of God. I’m spending time in prayer.” Let’s be strong in the Lord.

Things don't always go as we would like when we're in service to the Lord. Many times we have to adapt our plan as the Lord makes His will and intention known to us. Other times we have to be patient and wait on the Lord's timing. But there are also times when we, as in the apostles' example -- will suffer a disgrace for the Name -- and we just have to endure. However, if you have the apostle's perspective you will be "rejoicing"

What mission did Jesus say to His disciples that He had come to fulfill? “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). Paul began the book of Philippians with a greeting: Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ…. Christians must have the same mind as Jesus Christ. Have you grasped the truth that we are bondservants, called to serve others?

He who came in humility and shame will return in spectacular magnificence.

~John R. W. Stott~

Throughout my personal life and ministry, I have been moved and motivated by the deep, abiding love and mercy of God. Overall His good works and God’s tender mercies abide, and that is what makes everything else possible.

Attention-giving can be especially difficult in a culture where attention-getting is so highly valued. Being attentive can be hard amidst Facebook posts, work deadlines, and endless emails. But numerous opportunities to join God in his kingdom work abound daily for those who cultivate a lifestyle of attentiveness to God’s will, to self-care, and to others’ needs.

EVERYBODY IS WELCOME, NOBODY IS PERFECT, AND ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE JESUS IS ALIVE.....

An employer can buy your time but they can not buy your passion, longevity, and initiative... That comes from the heart when you love what you do...

Stop building walls and build bridges, put others first and you will have more to do than you can handle.

Loneliness is not the absents of people but the absents of fellowship with God......!

Charles Cosby

It's better to be satisfied with the decisions you make than to follow someone else advice and live with regrets.

God's delays are not God's denials........

If we give God service it must be because He gives us grace. We work for Him because He works in us. -C.H. Spurgeon -

"Who is Jesus? The answer to that question is a matter of eternal life and eternal death." -Stephen Nichols. Jesus is the promised Saviour, the true Surety, the real Intercessor between God and man -J.C. Ryle -

“Assurance makes a man smile upon the king of terrors. The assured soul knows that death shall be the funeral of all his sins, all his sorrows, all his afflictions, all his temptations.” —

Thomas Brooks

“To define the church as a mere earthly institution or some entrepreneur's vision would be to miss completely who the church is in God's eternal mind and heart.” Dustin Benge, Why Should We Love The Local Church, 25.

“The cross of Christ makes her beautiful not only inwardly by justification but also outwardly through sanctification. From giving second birth to final glory, the righteousness of Christ creates a beautiful bride.” — Dustin Benge, Why Should We Love The Local Church, 18.
