Every grace resource that heaven has to offer is already ours here on earth. This does not mean that we are fully aware of all that has been given to us. Certainly, it does not mean that we are experiencing all of these blessings. Yet, it does mean that they are all ours to draw upon for the fullness of life here on earth!

We have received the truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we need to deliver it to others, just as Paul delivered God’s Word to the Corinthians.

Let God Be God
I’m more a landlubber than a sailor, but I’ve puttered around in a bass boat enough to know the secret for finding land in a storm. You don’t aim at another boat. You certainly don’t stare at the waves. You set your eyes on an object unaffected by the wind, a light on the shore, and go straight toward it. You see, the light is unaffected by the storm.
In seeking God, you do the same. You focus on “a cut above” any storm life may bring. Like Job, you find peace in the pain. Like Job, you cover your mouth and be still. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” A command with a promise. Be still. Cover your mouth. Bend your knees. And, as a result, you will know that I am God.
Be still. Be quiet. Be open and willing. Let God be God. from The Great House of God

No Other Way Out of Town Wabush, a town in a remote portion of Labrador, Canada, was completely isolated for most of its [existence]. But [finally] a road was cut through the wilderness to reach it. Wabush now has one road leading into it, and thus, only on one road leading out. If someone would travel the unpaved road for six to eight hours to get into Wabush, there is only way he or she could leave —- by turning around. Each of us, by birth, arrives in a town called Sin. As in Wabush, there is only one way out -- a road built by God himself. But in order to take that road, one must first turn around. That complete about-face is what the Bible calls repentance, and without it, there’s no way out of town. -- Brian Weatherdon Discipleship to Jesus and our church life are meant to have at their center an interactive relationship with
the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not owned or defined by a denomination or era of church history. The Spirit cannot be reduced to a religious consumer choice:
“God knew that children grow and mature best in a stable, loving family, and this was one reason He gave marriage to us.”

Jesus Christ is a lion in majesty and a Lamb in meekness.

We have seen that all the grace resources God has for us to live by here on earth are already ours "in Christ." Now, our need is to have these comprehensive spiritual treasures revealed to us by the Lord Himself:

“Now we believe, not because of what you [the Samaritan woman] said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.” ~John 4:42~
Jesus always took time and we need to as well!
“In every Christian’s heart there is a cross and a throne, and the Christian is on the throne till he puts himself on the cross; if he refuses the cross, he remains on the throne…We all want to be saved but we insist that Christ do all the dying.”

The word “paradise,” from the Greek word paradeisos, which meant “garden,” was used in the Greek Old Testament for the Garden of Eden. In Greek-speaking Judaism of the time of Jesus, paradeisos was associated with heaven and also with the future when God would restore all things to the perfection of the Garden. Paradise was sometimes thought to be the place where righteous people went after death. This seems to be the way Jesus uses “paradise”
As Jesus hung on the cross, he was mocked by the leaders of Jerusalem and the Roman soldiers. One of the two criminals being crucified with him added his own measure of scorn. But the other crucified criminal sensed that Jesus was being treated unjustly. After speaking up for Jesus, he cried out, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom” (Luke 23:42).
Jesus responded to this criminal, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise” (Luke 23:43).
In the closing paragraphs of the Chronicles of Narnia, C.S. Lewis wrote about the death of some of his characters: "For them, it was only the beginning of the real story. All their life in this world...had only been the cover and title page; now, at last, they were beginning Chapter One of the Great Story, which no one on earth has read; which goes on forever; in which every chapter is better than the one before."
The cross stands high above the opinions of men––and to that cross, all opinions must come at last for judgment

As we consider the words, “Father, forgive them,” we rightly understand that these words apply to us. We too are forgiven through Christ. As John writes in his first letter, “If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Because Christ died on the cross for us, we are cleansed from all wickedness, from every last sin. We are united with God the Father as his beloved children.
Allow the Lord to free you from any anxiety caused by greed, covetousness or unbelief. Remember that worrying is foolish because the Creator of the universe loves you and will care for you.
