QUOTES

Today, take a moment to reflect on the light of Jesus in your life. Seek His guidance in prayer and meditate on His Word, allowing His teachings to shape your thoughts and actions. As you walk in the light of Christ, you will not only experience His presence in your own life but also become a source of hope and light for others.

"We are told to let our light shine, and if it does, we won't need to tell anybody it does. lighthouses don't fire cannons to call attention to their shining – they just shine."

— D.L. Moody

Return now to the Lord. Your life has been redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

In the relationship we have with the Lord through the new covenant of grace, there is intimacy, the fullness of life, spiritual victory, and so much more. These blessings (not available to those who are related to Adam) are aspects of the new life that comes to new creatures "in Christ."

"In Christ," everything is so different from how it was "in Adam." The family of man, having only natural life from Adam, puts great significance on human heritage or personal inclinations. Whether a person is a Jew or a Gentile can be of enormous consequence to many among the unredeemed community. Whether a person is religiously inclined or secularly motivated avails much with many unsaved people. On the other hand, those who have been brought into union with Christ can learn that God's perspective on such matters is vastly different. "For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything."

“In every Christian’s heart there is a cross and a throne, and the Christian is on the throne till he puts himself on the cross; if he refuses the cross, he remains on the throne…We all want to be saved but we insist that Christ do all the dying.” — A.W. Tozer

God’s indescribable Creation is on display every day showing us not only how ingenious He is but also teaching us so many lessons about His character and our faith.

Father and Son were in cooperation. The Father sent His Son. And the Son willingly went.

God will not let you go. He loved Jonah enough to stay with him, and He will do the same for you and all of us.

True worship is a blend of godly fear and trembling together with joy that we are accepted in the Beloved.

~Erroll Hulse~

If being a happy person is a moral responsibility, how much more so is being a joyful person? Happiness skims the surface; joy is rooted in eternity. We are commanded to be joyful not merely for our own benefit but for the benefit of everyone else in our lives!

“Let not a repentant sinner imagine that he is remote from the estate of the righteous because of the sins and misdeeds he has done. This is not true, for he is beloved and precious to God as if he never sinned.” —

Malmonides, Mishneh Torah, 1170 A.D.

I really do not know how people in the world make it without God. Despite what is going on around us, God is the only one who can give us His peace. Christians have a peaceful assurance that God is still in control.

There will be no universal peace till the Prince of peace appears.

~J. C. Ryle~

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”—John 6:35

The Israelites had experienced God’s provision of food, but here was Jesus —God in the flesh —offering something so much greater. Here was Jesus offering a life of satisfaction, fulfillment, and purpose. A life connected to Christ.

Will you take it and eat it? The table is set. The offer is made. Jesus is the meal. And the choice is yours.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:30: "For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 36:9: "For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light." Does your Christian service feel a little burdensome?

Either your focus is not on the Lord or it's time to step down.

The Lord wants us to grow in the magnificent blessing of living victoriously through Him. Having a triumphant Christian walk can only be realized from a developing acquaintanceship with the Lord because we are only able to "reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."

Bob Hoekstra

The church is beautiful when she is a shining example of how to interact and respond to others in a manner that images forth Christ.”

Do you know the Lord's plans for your life? I don't. Sometimes I think I do, but more often than not I'm proven wrong. One thing I know for certain, His plans are designed to give me hope and a future. There are no dead ends for those who belong to God. No matter the circumstances, we are to be joyful.

Death will not have the last word. Life will. Suffering will not have the last word. Happiness will. Sin will not have the last word. Righteousness will. Satan will not have the last word. God will.
