Love as the Pinnacle

(2 Peter 1:7-8)

"and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly

affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

 

Love is the greatest virtue and the ultimate expression of

Christian maturity. It involves a genuine affection for others that mirrors the sacrificial love of Christ. This love is active and seeks the good of others, building up the community and reflecting the heart of God.

 

Consider how you can express this sacrificial love today. It

might be through a specific act of kindness, supporting someone in need, or forgiving someone who has wronged you.
