We're all facing our darkest moments! The shadow of the 7-year tribulation is upon us, and the world will soon experience its darkest hour! But right this very second, Jesus is interceding for you and me: His Church! He didn't ascend to heaven to "rest." His care for us didn't end on the cross! He is actively interceding for His children right now before the Father. He is FOR us, IN us, and WITH us until the end!
🩸Our salvation is secured by Christ through His death on the cross and His resurrection— His promise extends to every second of our earthly lives.
Jesus made an astonishing promise to His disciples and by extension all His Church, that He will be with us until the very end of this age.
📖 "I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen." Matt 28:20
👉🏼Just as God promised Joshua that He would never leave nor forsake him:
📖"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
👉🏼"I am with you": This is a present-tense affirmation that extends to every single day of our lives. It's not a passive expression; it's an active one, meaning He is FOR us, IN us, and WITH us. This means that He is actively listening, helping us, interceding for us, making a way, and working within us. It's an ongoing, never-ending process of His presence and care in our lives.
👉🏼When we face relentless attacks from the enemy, who accuses us day and night, highlighting our weaknesses and mistakes, Jesus assures us that He will mediate for us before the Father, declaring that we are forgiven, our sins are covered, and there is no condemnation for those who believe in Him. He is our defender!
📖"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." Romans 8:34
🔊Let's keep looking up!
Our redemption draws near! Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, not idly watching the clock and twiddling his fingers. He is actively interceding for us in this very moment, sharing in our grief and feeling our despair. He will continue to do so until the appointed time when He will bring us home at the end of the age.
Let us persevere in His word, in His presence, and keep looking up!
