IT'S TIME TO REPENT

It's time to turn around and completely open up your heart and surrender to God! He wants to remove what is holding you back from His presence. Let His light shine over your pain, your fears, and your disappointments! His heavenly gates will open up for you and restore you!

"For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness." Psalm 18:28

This is it! We're living our last days on this earth! As we get ready to meet our King, our hearts need to be prepared — what does He want us to do? He wants to shine His light on our darkness, He wants to heal our deepest wounds and restore us.

Let's consider what might be stopping us from His presence. He's examining our hearts and the deep-rooted problems we're dealing with at the core of our beings.

Sins? "I wonder if God has really forgiven me, I cannot forgive myself."

We often find ourselves thinking about our past mistakes, and the enemy does a great job of making us believe we don't deserve good things. This sense of guilt stops us from confidently coming into God's presence, sharing our faith, and connecting with others. It's like we're walking around with a sign over our heads that says "guilty" or "not worthy."

Remember!!! It's the blood of Jesus that washes away ALL sins, even the ones that are difficult to forget. If we're still struggling with a sin or the pain caused by it, we should come into God's presence and allow Him to address it. He wants and needs to do this! We should accept His forgiveness so we can also forgive ourselves. The Holy Spirit will help us and guide us in this process!

External distractions?

Mary chose to sit at Jesus' feet, her desire was to be in His presence because she wanted to be close to Him.

Martha, however, was more concerned with the tasks happening around Jesus. When Martha expressed her frustration, she was surprised to learn that Jesus actually supported Mary's choice. (Luke 10: 38-42).

We often become overly focused on the tasks we have to complete. Satan is skilled at reminding us of the many things we need to do—big or small—using even the responsibilities around Jesus to divert us from being with Him. We all know that there is nothing more important than to spend time in God's presence, let's not fall for this trap; the enemy is a deceiver!

We can't miss this moment! This is the time to seek His presence like never before!! We need to eliminate those insignificant "tasks" or any "distractions" that steal our time away from Him.

Hurts?

Many times, we avoid being in God's presence because we're afraid to face what's within us. We're reluctant to look at ourselves honestly and deal with the pain we're carrying because it's painful! That pain, past wounds, or the struggles we're facing. We want to sweep them under the rug whenever they resurface.

We need to surrender this pain to Jesus, just as much as we surrender our sin. These deep wounds we've been carrying for years, the pain of losing a loved one, broken relationships, a shattered marriage, and unfulfilled dreams—all of these need to be surrendered to God. He needs to shine His light on this pain, and the only way He can do that is if we turn to Him, open our hearts, and trust that He's our Healer. He's the only one who truly understands our pain and suffering, and He can restore it.

Remember! He can reach back to that very moment and embrace you during the toughest and most painful times of your life. Open your heart—He's our surgeon, allow Him to go deep and shine His light on you!

Let's continue to wait for Him, while we fully surrender and remove anything that keeps us from being close to Him. Let's cut every tie to this world!

Keep looking UP!!! Maranatha!

If you're not saved!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, it's time to turn to Jesus and open your heart. It's time to get saved!! He's coming for His Church!!

Believe Jesus is the Son of God, who shed His blood on the cross for your sins, He was buried and resurrected during the third day, according to the Scriptures, so you can have that eternal life with Him.

The moment you believe in Him and that He died for your sins - you're saved, justified, sealed until the day of redemption, and rapture ready!

The Holy Spirit will come to live inside of you - He will help you, guide you, heal you, change you, and be with you FOREVER!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17
