Time is running out!
If you say you "don't believe" it's simply because you don't want to. Believing is a gift from God. No work is involved. He makes it so simple because of His mercy and grace - because He loves us! Come and believe in Jesus!
Look at humanity! Let's start with Adam & Eve, they had one job to do "Don't eat of that fruit" and they failed. Look at Israel, "Fulfill these 10 commandments" - they also failed. Not one work, not 10 works will save you!!
Jesus had to come and pay the full price on the cross for us, so it will be ⟪zero works⟫ otherwise, there will be no hope for humanity!! Look at us!! Look around!! Do you think God will leave salvation in our hands, or part of it? NO!!!
We're sinful and incapable!! HIS perfect work on the cross, His blood, His burial, and resurrection DID IT ALL FOR US! Left NOTHING else to do!! He even gives us the power to believe in Him - believing is a gift from God! That gift is not earned for anything we have done or will ever do.
He gives us everything for His own glory, so we have NOTHING to boast about. Even receiving faith is a non-work. This is an example: Suppose someone gives you a $10 million dollar check. The money is yours if you want it, but you must endorse the check. In no way signing that check will be considered works -the endorsement is a non-work. You can't ever boast about becoming a millionaire because you endorse the check. The 10 million dollars was simply a gift and signing your name was the way to receive it.
“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). It is the ⟪Word of God⟫ that produces faith. Every time we hear the Word of God - our faith will be increased.
Non-believers! You can believe IF you want to, the check is on the table for you to grab, for you to endorse! Your life is in CHRIST not in this world! Believe in the gospel → Jesus died for your sins, shed His blood, was buried, and rose again to give so you can be saved - and have eternal life.
For believers! We can and should increase our faith, by asking and by listening to His Word- but also rest knowing that He will finish the good work He started with us! God is the Author and the Perfecter of faith!!
