Help me, O Lord my God!

Help me, O Lord my God! Save me according to your steadfast love!

Psalm 109:26

Reverend Danny Taylor, President of Ozark Bible Institute, relays the story of a photograph of his great-grandmother. It was all he had of her, and the only possession that anyone had that had been hers. But the photo was cracked and ruined with age so that the image was barely visible. Reverend Taylor had heard of a man who could bring old photographs back to life again. He hesitated to let the photo out of his possession and had doubts about the man’s abilities. Finally, he asked for some kind of credentials so he could be sure the photo was safe. After asking around, he was told, “Sir, you must trust him, because he knows how.”

Are you in need of restoration in your relationship with the Lord today?

Are you uncertain of His full forgiveness?

It is time for you to place your absolute trust in Him… He knows how to do it. All you need do is deliver your repentant self into His hands.

In 2021, a campaign was launched in Washington to “Restore America.” Naturally, it was politically based. At its institution, a news organization stated, “A sense that the country is out of whack and needs to be restored is now widespread.” Sadly, the trajectory they sought was not a spiritual one. The United States obviously needs restoring, but that must begin with a spiritual awakening, one person at a time.

But you, O God my Lord,     deal on my behalf for your name’s sake;     because your steadfast love is good, deliver me! 22 For I am poor and needy,     and my heart is stricken within me. 23 I am gone like a shadow in the evening;     I am shaken off like a locust. 24 My knees are weak through fasting;     my body has become gaunt, with no fat. 25 I am an object of scorn to my accusers;     when they see me, they wag their heads.

26 Help me, O Lord my God!     Save me according to your steadfast love!
