God never leaves us alone. He sends His Holy Spirit who indwells and empowers us. He also gives us His Word and His people, to be used by the Spirit to speak truth to us and to motivate us. When we don’t sense His presence, know He is there and is at work.
Philippians 2:13
13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
