The real foundation of society is the family. We are to never marry outside the will of God. When we marry and ignore the will of God, families and nations suffer, competency leads to bondage and is a direct result of a selfish attitude. This snare will always be a key way to how the enemy brings man into bondage.
Heb.13:17
Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account.
Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
Submission comes when the submisser sees a model but there is no excuse when the model for the church is not the believers in the pews but the Lord Jesus Christ and his word.
It is not enough to pray God leads us. We must contend and take action.
It's time to step it up.
Pro 27:6
Faithful [are] the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy [are] deceitful.
What Do You Do With A Guy Who Does Not Submit?
A Martial Arts Master was asked, what do you do with a guy who does not submit to your authority on your team? The master said I break their nose because if I don't there will be anarchy, So I take them in the octagon and break their nose. So everyone on my team has a crooked nose and a great attitude.
Gal 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
And a louring relationship leads to heartbreak. Sampson was a great example for us to look at.
A little leaven, leavenith the whole lump. What a man sows that also he shall reap. So go ahead and so to the wind and reap the whirlwind.
We need to follow God as Joshua did:
Jos 24:15
"And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the River or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
