Don't get entangled in your own plans!

Don't get entangled in your own plans! Nothing we intend can override God's will!

You can plan with great detail every aspect of your life, and have a grand agenda, but it's ultimately God who decides what will happen.

Trust in the Lord and He will make your path straight!

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Prov 3:5-6

When we come to Jesus, we make a decision to trust Him with all our hearts (all our being). This decision comes with a commitment to actually follow through. It means that in our daily lives, we actively place our trust in God.

This isn’t an instant process. Learning to place our trust in God is something that takes time. In every situation that arises, we need to take it and place it in God’s hands.

God has gifted us with an extraordinary imagination, and we can come up with amazing plans for our lives, for our children's lives, and even for God. However, if these plans are not surrendered to the Lord if they're not aligned with His will, they are simply products of our own flesh, they will be in vain and won't bear any meaningful fruit. We can't lean on our own understanding. Plans that come from our own desires and efforts can entangle us in tasks and works that steal our time, and joy, and ultimately weigh us down, leaving us exhausted.

That's the best enemy's trap!

"A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps." Prov 16:9

The Strong's word for "deceiveth" literally means to "weave," and figuratively, it refers to plotting or contriving, often with malicious intent. If our plans originate from our flesh, they are not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

This doesn't mean that planning itself is wrong, but it emphasizes the importance of preparing our plans with humility and obedience in alignment with God's will.

In Proverbs 3:6, Solomon uses the word "submit" or "acknowledge" instead of "trust." This term means being in deep fellowship with God, not just having a casual relationship. This means that we come to God for the little plans and for the big plans and we allow Him to direct and rule our life.

No matter what plans we make today, whether it's a long trip or a simple run to the coffee shop, we should bring them before the Lord. In this way, He can align our thoughts and guide our actions according to His purpose.

"Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established." Prov 16:3

His main plan today is to save you, cleanse you, heal you, use you to lead others to salvation, and deliver you from the upcoming 7-year tribulation, the worst time the world will ever see!

Allow Him to guide your remaining days, weeks, or even months on this earth according to His divine perfect plan!
