1. Has there been a time in your life when you realize that you were lost?

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND!
God treated Jesus as if He had committed every sin - ever committed by every single person, who would choose to trust and believe in Him for salvation-- BUT in fact, Jesus committed NO sin!
Hanging on the cross He was a spotless Lamb -wholly, harmless, undefiled. He was never for a split second a sinner, He was Holy God on the cross - BUT God treated Him as if He lived YOUR life. God punished Jesus for YOUR sins -- BUT He turns right around and treats you as if YOU had lived JESUS' life.
What you get is complete forgiveness, covered by the righteousness of Jesus Christ because of HIS BLOOD. When He looks at the cross He sees YOU when He looks at you He sees CHRIST.
Romans 3:25 "whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed."
It's believing in the blood of Jesus that saves you!!! None of your works!!
